I started playing this game at the LAN Center I use to go to. Everyone that saw it was like, "What the hell is that!?" or "Why are you playing that?" I told them it was addicting but they didn't believe me. Then next week I walk in and everyone is playing it.
I warned them, but no...they didn't listen.

I bought the game on PC for a friend back when she kept yapping about it. When I saw her playing the demo, I was intrigued enough. I installed it on my computer before giving it to her though...
It's really fun for the initial playthrough, but after that, I didn't give a rat's ass about it. I'm not into extra challenges, and once I see the credits screen, I'm subconsciously convinced the game I'm playing is over.
What's up with this game's fixation on "Ode to Joy" anyway? You can even find an easter egg credit screen by playing the first few notes of Ode to Joy on the title screen by mousing over the buttons in the correct order.
The pumpkin guy and the crab are my favorite.... and I hate the last few stages to death.
For those who feel their masculinity waning by even glancing at the game, Pop Cap also released "Peggle Extreme" on as a free download on Steam, a version that features stages built around Valve's Orange Box games. (Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal) It's ideal for those who want to see Bjorn being attacked by a headcrab that's been impaled on his horn.
Extra cool feature(in my opinion at least) when losing on a Portal themed stage, you get to hear GLaDOS say,
"At the enrichment center we believe that if at first you don't succeed, you fail."

I've seen this game popping up on Steam several times as well as seeing my friends on there owning this game, so I curious to know what the game is like. After seeing this review, I now have a good idea on what it's like. I'll pick the game up someday, but right now, it's not urgent for me to get it.
Oh, and I'll keep away from the demo for the time being like you advised me.

Yes. His videos always start with the brief singing that comes between each chapter of the first Disgaea game, and that bit at the end was the 8 or 16 bit version of the Disgaea theme, which you can hear in Disgaea 2 or 3 at some point. I think it's in the Item world, if you run into Innocent Town, though I may be mistaken about that.

I can't believe that my old buddy Björn actually made it into a game! Nobody took him seriously when he said he was planning to do that surgery to become a unicorn, but he's really made it big! That's awesome!
But seriously Lee, thanks for the warning. I've been deadly addicted to Bubble Spinner and Word Challenge, so the less of those devilish games I stay clear of, the better.
