It's got that quirky japanese charm to it, but I still don't think it could get me to play a baseball game.

Is the Psychonauts poster the only framed one on that wall? It's a good pick.

I didn't want to play this game because I thought it was geared towards children(though that doesn't make it bad. Some games gear towards kids do turn out pretty fun). But it just looked to childish. But now I may rent it just to see how it is.

Interesting... but it looks stupid. ANd I don't trust a person who likes the newer Sonic games.

I'm not sure what show you're watching, but Sonic Unleashed for 360/PS3 is pigshit.

Wow, I haven't picked up a baseball game since the NES days because they've all had an emphasis on being too real... this one actually looks good! Thanks for the tip, Lee!
A bit confused on which version to get though... you said not to get the Wii version but you kept waving the box around at the end. Did you just use the Wii box as the prop?

Not into baseball games, but this game looks oddly awesome. Sadly, I still probably won't end up getting it.
Thanks for the review anyways. Awesome as always, Lee

Yeah, I got this game last year. Best baseball game I've ever played. Too bad the cd cracked in half

Anyways good review.

I am looking at my Wii wondering will anything be as good and not a "simple" control type?
I'll wait till the people start supporting Nintendo some more which should be what.. 2054?

It may be an awesome baseball game, but it was probably the cute graphics that turned the sports game fans away. The typical audience who plays sports games seems to want that accurate roster and realistic graphics to help fill that void in the off season.
It seems like they missed out though. I guess that's what happens when someone is shallow with their games and look at only its surface.
If I see this game for the PS2 on the used game shelf I'll be sure to give it a try.

I love quirky odd japanese games that try to add an RPG feel to seemingly everything. Ever play Everblue 2 for PS2? Yeah, it's a Scuba Diving game with RPG elements, and the crazy part is, it's pretty good.

Pro-tip: when I said "Are you just making this up as you go along," I was not talking to Lee.
