That ame looks pritty good. I probably will check it out, as soon as I figure out how to import stuff.

I've seen the 360 version and thought it was just a glorified flashgame, had no idea that the truth was so much more horrible...
Also: The option "Study Land" somehow reminded me of NC's Super Mario Bros Super Show review

Interesting as always, JewWario. Rhythm games aren't really my thing, but just seeing a home-made controller is pretty awesome.

Interesting, I think o2jam is much more appealing, even though it was probably based off of Pop'N music.

06.13.2009 - 21:01 | CrimsonDusk - Great J-pop game
That's one cool rhythm game and would get it just for the cool J-pop and especially play it with the big ass controller. Too bad when it was ported they did THAT to it.

06.13.2009 - 21:13 | Skitch - Bravo!
Man, I've always wanted to play Pop 'n Music, and it's always cool to see this music game get a little attention. Great job on the video, as always...and don't worry about going in depth - that's the best part!
P.S. You are dead on about how AWFUL Beat 'n Groovy is, it made me wince to see how bad the localization of that was...gives me an idea of something to comment on later on..

Okay, you are officially the "Sage" of imports. Great review
One thing though. Did Konami release this before DDR?

Haha, random Swedish FTW!
This is also a great segment. For someone like be that like both games and anime, there are some japanese games like this that are of interest to me. So far I have really only played the Super robot Wars games as far as japanese imports go, but this has opened my eyes for other crazy titles I might get.

pop'n ASC: DO WANT.
Personally, I prefer Iroha CS's music over 11s, but different strokes

Again an interesting and awesome episode. I'm wondering why some people find your Reviews too long. I enjoyed every minute. And concerning "reviewing bad video games": Even though I love the concept ranting about bad games/videos/movies, I find it refreshing that not everyone on this page is into this style.

Great! You're definitely the most informative reviewer on the site, and my second favorite game reviewer after Spoony. Keep it up, ~kitty~.

can you review Sol Brain for the NES ?
this game is WAY to underappreciated.

nice, a rhythm game review. Rock Band is a serious contender for my favorite game of all time, so of course i've heard of Pop'N Music. i didn't get a chance to play it, but i have played its badass parent series, BeatMania, and that game is brutally difficult. i'm kinda surprised you didn't mention it. still, good review, i'll definitely consider getting this one.
also, i love the way you stuck it to the people who dislike your thorough, informative approach. that's one of my favorite things about your reviews. anyone who can't tolerate sitting through a 10 minute review probably isn't gonna have the patience to deal with importing games anyway.
great as always, i'm looking forward to seeing what the fans suggested you review

This "And over and over..." line was used in Phelous' video too...
It's going to be a running joke, I just know it!
It shall be said over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and Wario and over and over and over and over.

Swedish! xD
Great review! I had never heard of this game, it looks really nice. I like how you give a lot of information about the games.

dammit, can't stop nodding to the tunes of that scotland-J-Pop-song.
Good video, Mr.Wario

That's a great idea to make your own ASC, maybe you should start a "how to" series called "You can make this"

But a few years ago I was approached by a company who made them to do the artwork for the panels. Sadly I never heard from them again, shame really.

I like J-pop and I like these music rythm type games. It makes me think about Stepmania, a free DDR clone. It also makes me think about how 90% of the songs were incredibely difficult to play and that I had a very hard time finding songs that would fit my experience level >_<
I guess I should find Pop'N Music then since you said the difficulty levels were quite adjustable =P
Great review! And lol at your gigantic controller =P I wish I could make that^^

Great review. I'm not fond to that type of games but your review gave as always best view of that game.
