It's like you read my mind. I wanted to suggest this after I mentioned the Famicom version of Goonies. I loved the episode they did of this game on Gamecenter CX too.

omg i think this is one of my favorites of yours now. Just the way the lady comes into screen when your fantasizing about konami lady and then smacks you when you mention firm bottoms and voluptuous etc. for the first time i think we've seen a little about you

Wow, I never realized TwinBee wasn't released in NA. It was on all those multicarts and I never saw any japanese, just like with DigDug. I didn't know with that one till I saw it was sold for the import price on virtual console.

I don't like the crappy NES port but I heard that there is the original on the MSX that was really good... I want to know if you have heard of it?

I loved the Goonies and Twinbee! I have them on a cartridge that has a hundred games or so. I've never heard anyone else talk about them though. :P

Oh, and the same cartridge holds that Antarctic Adventure, which I loved as well. I guess I should try to get it work some day.

Gotta ask though, what is the Japanese's fascination with Easter Island statues? They're enot just in Konami games, but also characters in TV shows, mascots for anime companies, even Pez like dispensers.

I loved the SNES Goeman games, infact I just re-bought Mystical Ninja 2 on the N64 a few days ago, incredibly rare game. Not qite as good as the first N64 game IMO, but still great.

I KNOW TWINBEE!! In fact my first game review was of Stinger. That game is weird as all hell but I love it. B)

This review puts a smile on my face, played most of these games intensely on the MSX, and still owning some classics as Vampire Killer(Akumaj? Dracula), Nemesis 2(Gradius 2) and the sequel to Antarctic Adventure, Penguin Adventure. I should plug that old MSX in when i have the time. :)
