Nice Video!!
The gripes you have are completely legit for the game. I agree with the palette swap issues and the problem with determining feet/hands etc.
But then again, the game was for the Famicon?! I thought it looked amazing.
You consistently put out good content on this site. The Japanese speaking Jewish Video Game Dude has risen to my favorite in the "Blistered Thumbs" category.
Where did you learn Japanese? And why?

Great review as always JewWario, but how many Episode 1s are there? o.O

Nine. Ten if you count the 2-part end as two, and 13 if you count in the quickies as well.

Ah, Joy Mech Fight. I played a translated ROM of it a while back. Nice game. I've also seen Skapon (the dancing robot from the title screen) as a character in MUGEN, and as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Hehe, it's like a Rayman fighter, lol. Nah seriously, it's nice to see another fighter on the Famicom/NES, even if it's only in Japan.
To my knowlage, the only fighters I know of on the NES are, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Urban Champion, Karate Champ and TMNT Tournament fighters.

I loved the whole "and there were some parts that poked me in the eye" bit.
Good ol Joy Mech Fight definitely is a fun game, my friend Alan(Midas) actually did a translation for this one.

Few things in the universe go without their exceptions, but if you have two robot building scientists, one of them will always be evil, no exceptions.

I've seen the translated ROM being played and it really grabbed my interest. Not only is it really entertaining to play but entertaining to watch as well.
Man, I need to stop watching your show. You're going to make me want to buy so many things I can't afford right now.
Great as usual, though. Nice to see a game I FINALLY recognize.

The World needs more Robot Fighting Games.
I once played a NES Game, wich looked like a modded Version of Mario Kart for the SNES, but it was a Streetfighter Clone with Super Mario Characters.
Here is a Video with this game:

I'd like to see a review for Seiken Densetsu 3 for SNES, it's the sequel to secret of mana that never made it state side.

The only problem is that it's a game that you'd really need a translation guide to be able to beat, and JewWario's focus is generally on games that you don't need to know Japanese, or use a translation guide to play.

The only thing I don't like are the robots' floating body parts, but it's a minor gripe when you consider how good the gameplay is.

Very nice as always Mr. Wario. There have not been enough inventive fighters as of late. Keep em coming.

Nicely done, dude. For some reason those mechs give me a Vectorman vibe. Must be the body parts. Still, good work!

Does this game have a reproduction version on the net? Either way I'm gonna try hunting this game down.

I've played this, it's awesome!
It's like Rayman the Fighting Game before there was a Rayman.

Great episode, and series. I like it more with each episode. A lot of the games you've shown have really piqued my interest and I'll probably get some. I absolutely love NES/Famicom era games.
Also thanks for turning me on to NES reproductions. What a cool site, and run by just one guy.

I wonder if the creators of Ballz got any inspiration from the look of this game?
