Maybe don't type in all caps in a weird font. Also, grammer is your friend. (why doesn't the site's spell check recognize the word grammer?)
  • Gorgormcgor
That would be because "Grammer" is actually spelled grammar.

Ah Goldeneye. How my memory treasures every scream filled grudge match that me and my friends had while shooting the shit out of each other. Such wonderful memories.

By the way, every time you mention Daikatana, John Romero dies a little inside.

Haha I always loved killing Dr. Dork too.
I also loved Slappers only, License to Kill.

Oh that part where we film the 4 player multiplayer, one of the joysticks was fucked (which we learnt just then) so that's why the guy is running in circles :cheer:

One of my favorite games on the N64. I remember goofing around with remote mines in the multiplayer.

    Definantly a very awesome game.

Didn't do anything for bonfire night unfortunately apart from play D&D and unfortunatly didn't get to set any fires neither.

Golden eye was probably one of the best games ever to come out on the N64.

Indeed, not bad for something that was almost cancelled after the N64 light gun was axed!

    Ah the game with the glitch that started "Get down" or "geddan" fun stuff XD;
Wish I had had a N64 to try this stuff

I'm usually not a fan of shooters, but this is one I still enjoy playing...well, I would if I still had a copy.

I'm wondering how many people watching this are wondering what Bonfire Night is, hehe.

I must say that I completely DESPISE console shooters, but this one along with Perfect Dark (Though Golden eye always seemed more fun) are still some of my favorite all-time games. I remember getting all the friends together for a four-player frag party...which always degenerated into controller-throwing "HOW DID YOU SHOOT ME, I WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR!" reply: "Your hand was sticking through and I had the golden gun..." re-reply "ARRRRGH! *controllertoss* "

    Good times ^_^
  • natboof  - im sorry...
but despite all our best wishes, this game will never have an xbox live/ virtual consual release. there is just too many people to go through. ninten do said themself that it would cost too much money to port. but hopes good anyway

Goldeneye, about one of the only movie based games that doesn't suck. No doubt a classic that well deserves its spot on all those top ten lists. It was the innovator that set the standard all first person shooters that came after it. A true example of one of the greatest games of all time.

anyone that owns a game that uses the source engine(HL2, L4D, etc) can play goldeneye multiplayer online. i forgvet exactly who cooked up the mod, but god bless em for it.

I didn't like this game. I actually prefer a bond game many reviewers hate, Tomorrow Never dies for the PS1
  • RedCoyote  - Goldeneye port...sorta
I have no clue how good it is or how faithful it is to the origional (or if it's even done, since it was on a list of top ten mods but only seems to be in it's third beta version as of current) but I believe some people made a Source mod for Goldeneye called, fittingly, Goldeneye: Source. The main drawback, though, is that it's PC (might not be a drawback to some) and that, you'll need a source game on your computer. All of the source games, though, are really good, so it's not like a huge loss to have to buy one.

i used to play this ALL THE TIME at my friend's house! it was awsome!
  • YouAskedForIt
This video needs a sequel.. One of the hardest games for me to put the controller down.
  • chefprotoss
As cool as online gaming is it will never be the same as sitting next to three of your smelly friends and throwing down on some Golden Eye. I miss the 90's. :(

Oh yeah, it was originally going to be a Virtua Cop clone with a Bond license on top. But Nintendo scrapped the light gun, so Rare could either scrap the game, or change what there is.

There's a few levels that still feel like they were meant for a light gun, most notably the train level.

  • Son0fNone
