Didn't do anything for bonfire night unfortunately apart from play D&D and unfortunatly didn't get to set any fires neither.
Golden eye was probably one of the best games ever to come out on the N64.Indeed, not bad for something that was almost cancelled after the N64 light gun was axed!

I must say that I completely DESPISE console shooters, but this one along with Perfect Dark (Though Golden eye always seemed more fun) are still some of my favorite all-time games. I remember getting all the friends together for a four-player frag party...which always degenerated into controller-throwing "HOW DID YOU SHOOT ME, I WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR!" reply: "Your hand was sticking through and I had the golden gun..." re-reply "ARRRRGH! *controllertoss* "
Good times

I have no clue how good it is or how faithful it is to the origional (or if it's even done, since it was on a list of top ten mods but only seems to be in it's third beta version as of current) but I believe some people made a Source mod for Goldeneye called, fittingly, Goldeneye: Source. The main drawback, though, is that it's PC (might not be a drawback to some) and that, you'll need a source game on your computer. All of the source games, though, are really good, so it's not like a huge loss to have to buy one.

There's a few levels that still feel like they were meant for a light gun, most notably the train level.
