I rented a lot of the Ecco games. Genesis will always be my major nostalgia console. Ah, Gunstar Heroes how I miss you. Great to see you again Goggles! Holy Crap, I remember that Mickey game! Man that one was fun too. Had great co-op play, at least I thought so.

You know... when you mentioned you had made up lyrics for each song in the game...
... I knew you wouldn't deny us the privilege of listening to them.

Ecco! Damn it! As a little girl who loved gaming in the early 90's, hell yeah I wanted this game. But my dad was a Nintendo nerd, so no dolphin games for me. Phoo.
Great review, regardless! You're awesome!

Ecco was one of the first Genesis games I ever played, I never got past the first screen cuz I was like "WTF is this game about?!" back then. Thank god for the Sonic Genesis Collection for the XBox 360 cuz I went back, played and beat both games. Great review Krissy!

I don't know if a Back to the Future with Dolphins would be awesome or not.

The part where you started rambling on trying to describe the music cracked me up.

I recommend you team up with NC for some kind of duet, maybe the "ThatGuyWithTheGlasses" theme song or something
Kickass singing, and it's great to see you again !

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future was originally released in 2000 as a showcase Sega Dreamcast title... right at the time when gamers were lining up to buy their PS2s. Suffice it to say, the Dreamcast by that point was already dead in the water, so it eventually became one of Sega's first PS2 releases as a third party publisher in 2001. Damned irony.
And DotF was really hard too.
