Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future was originally released in 2000 as a showcase Sega Dreamcast title... right at the time when gamers were lining up to buy their PS2s. Suffice it to say, the Dreamcast by that point was already dead in the water, so it eventually became one of Sega's first PS2 releases as a third party publisher in 2001. Damned irony.
And DotF was really hard too.
