Love it! I too grew up with the duke when i was a kid. Though I never noticed the pink shirt or the balloons...Still was a fun game though. I liked DN2, I thought it kicked arse, but when your a kid i think mad weapons and shooting the shit out of everything was the bomb

Fantastic work goggle boy....erm i mean That Chick with the Goggles (My bad, been playing Banjo Kazooie lately

WTF? Balloons and Energizer bunnies? Dark chapter of DN saga. I mean c'mon, that surely is not that macho chick magnet that we learned to know him as from DN3D.
But anyway, good job. I actually never thought I would see preview of old PC-game from you Krissy. You just didn't look like chick like that who would had played games all her life.

Where's your moonbase? It's in episode 2. Probably will get a lot of this, but I'll explain anyway.
Old shareware games like Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Jill of the Jungle, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, and Raptor (Just to name a few) did this trick where, they would release all their games in parts. Three parts, usually. The first, you could get for free, wherever you got your shareware from. They would always end on cliffhangers, and to get the whole game, you gave the company money, and bought the other 2 episodes.
Other than that, fun review! Always wondered if someone would do a video review of the old shareware games I grew up on, like Commander Keen and Duke Nukem.

Very funny, actually. I enjoyed it. Tip, though. Saying that it was technically advanced for its time without providing examples of its innovations means little. I trust you know what you're talking about, but I didn't grow up on Duke Nukem, so I would have been interested to see some of its innovations. Good review, though. I'll look forward to more in the future.
Speaking of Duke Nukem, it seems like we've been waiting Forever for that ne--*is slapped by internet*

Actually there was Duke Nukem Episode 2: "Mission: Moonbase" and Episode 3: "Trapped In The Future!" which both followed a similar scheme to the original. Duke Nukem 2 was essentially the fourth game in the series.
You can download them and a number of other games from that year from here: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3549990/Classic_PC_games_-_1991
p.s. Admins: If my linking to that file is seen as a problem, please remove the link from my post.
p.p.s. Ecco The Dolphin kicks ass. The first game was especially good as the ring jumping thing upset me in the second game. Either way, looking forward to your review! Hope it's as good as the last two.

Duke Nukem... I remember playing both the first and second games. And of course, Duke Nukem 3D. I ought to play through 3D again some time. I haven't played that in ten years at least.
Definitely a nostalgic set of games for me. And assuming it ever is released some day, I know I'm going to end up buying Forever. If for no other reason but to find out what took them all these years to make.

Now I'm confused. Since Ecco: The Tides of Time is the second Ecco game, are you not reviewing the first? Or are you reviewing both? Any reason for excluding the third? Or is it just because it's a different dolphin?
OT: Why did everyone suddenly turn female? Lindsay is the nostalgia chick, Krissy reminds me of Benzaie... will we see the female equivalent of That Dude In The Suede next? (ugh)

Hm. From pink-clad, Oprah-watching, balloon collecter comprised of rainbow confetti, to Schwarzeneggian tittymonger.
Duke Nukem II: He's back. From hetero camp.
