On the one hand, I agree with your sentiment, but on the other, this wasn't a video of screwing some guy over this time. Besides, you should have known what to expect by this point, so if the title of the video has a game that you don't want spoiled, then don't fucking watch it.

Well, you forgot the part where Dr. Insano makes a special guest appearance and tries to trick Claptrap into thinking that he was created by Insano, and then Insano takes all the nuclear stockpile in the vault, straps it to a missile, and launches it into the sun ... which then immediately explodes. And then Insano says, "I'm the ruler of the world!" for a brief second before he bakes to a crisp.

While I don't agree with him, he's not complaining about having the game spoiled himself. He's complaining about the very concept of the series, which is that giving out spoilers unsolicited (which occurs in the videos, although the videos themselves are clearly labelled) is comedy gold.

He isn't complaining that he got spoilers from a show called spoiler alert. He is complaining that he doesn't find the show's concept to be funny and would rather see a different video in it's place. It isn't just a matter of "if you don't like it, don't watch" because he apparently likes some of the other stuff that the Game Heroes do (and would rather they do more of that), not to mention that on this site, there are 4 new video updates every day ... so if a series were to "end", something else would presumably take it's place to maintain the update schedule.

Claptrap isn't evil, I haven't beaten the game yet, but even I know that's not true. Claptrap have been dying all throughout the game. That woudl be the worst ending ever. So yeah that's not the real ending...

Okay, people, the series is called "Spoiler Alert," so if you watched it you should expect the ending to be spoiled. Mickey's not ruining anything for you, you're ruining it for yourself. This is a great idea for a series, perhaps there are people who wont play the game to the end but still want to know how it ends. There you go.

Now, I just realized something. I'm not watching these because I *DON'T* want the ending spoiled, so, perhaps I have misunderstood this whole series. If I am mistaken about the premise, and Mickey is actually running around spoiling the endings for people who *don't* consent to it, just to film it for a few laughs, yeah, THAT'S FUCKED UP, and that should stop here.

Well, in the previous episode, he actually did just knock on someone's door and spoil Dead Space for him, just to piss the guy off. That was messed up, and I didn't appreciate it.

But in this video, he wasn't taking anybody by surprise, so it's not a big deal. Not to mention that the camera guy was shaking his head in this video, which indicates that the spoiler is fake anyway, so it's REALLY not a big deal.

Look dickface, This whole series is idiotic. EVERYONE is going to watch it because were CURIOUS. Everyone is curious which is why we play the fucking games in the first place. Were going to watch a spoiler because its basicly just the end without as much work. This whole series is fucking idiotic and needs to be stopped.

Yes, because people who refuse to put in the effort to something they claim they give a crap about just because there's an easier way to get it shouldn't be stopped at all! We should totally not blame the people stupid enough to say "Well, I know the ending, no point in seeing the REST of the story now and possibly have a fun time getting there." That would be, dare I say, promoting people who put effort into things. And we can't have that. No sirree.

I'm not trying to claim a game experience (or any story-based experience) isn't more fun if you get to experience every part of it for the first time by your own means. I understand that that probably is the ideal way for most people. But if all of these people are having their experiences ruined by the simple fact of having the ending spoiled, maybe the rest of the experience isn't that good. Hinging the entire quality of the story on ONE segment is a terrible, terrible practice. If the rest of the game isn't a fun, engaging experience on its own, THAT IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE PEOPLE SPOILING IT. And it is ALSO not the fault of the spoilers for making some people unwilling to play the game. That is THEIR choice, that they don't want to put in time or effort to try to get some enjoyment, and THEY deserve to be ridiculed. "I already know the ending to this game, there's no point in playing it." Congratulations, you are officially denying yourself a fun time simply because you know how it ends. If there is a SINGLE person out there who didn't know Batman would win at the end of The Dark Knight, they are stupid. But we all watched it, and most of us enjoyed it. We knew he would win; we wanted to see how it would happen. On a more personal level, I knew all about Watchmen (the graphic novel) before I read it. It was STILL an excellent book. I knew the differences in the movie before I watched it. I still liked it. What is wrong with all of the OTHER people who can't enjoy anything if ONE part is revealed to them? And why is that anyone else's fault but theirs?

In the second episode 8-bit Micky reveals one of the great moments of BioShock, something that left me in awe (no, I didn't see it coming). Some games do hinge on critical surprises, and films for that matter.
Knowing the ending not only ruins the finale, but most likely makes many other parts if the game leading up to end obvious. Yes, we knew Batman would win in the end of Dark Knight. We did not know the circumstances of the ending however (it didn't end the way I thought it would). Deny it all you want, but having someone spell out the ending, or the great twist, detracts from the enjoyment of any form of media.
And again, back to the point: if you spoil the ending, you are a jackass. You are intentionally trying to ruin a story for someone else for your own amusment. It is not funny. At all. EVER.

I agree. Take, for example, the epic poem, The Odyssey. It is explicitly stated at the very beginning that Odysseus comes back and beats the suitors, and lives happily ever after. The thing is, it's him and his son versus 118 men, each of which are 20-something years old. The beauty of the story is in how the hell Odysseus is supposed to pull that off. THAT is something that you don't want spoiled.

I would, however, like to add that Bioshock is System Shock 2, so if you've played System Shock 2, then there's no way to be spoiled about anything, because it seriously is the same exact game, only underwater.

The whole purpose of this video series is that Micky spoils something for someone against their will, and that that is funny.
It is not to any thinking person. This is the same kind of humor as tripping some passer-by in front of a group of people to get some laughs at their misfortune.
This is the lowest form of humor, if you can call it humor at all. It is not the spoiler of the video that offends me, it is the video's existance and that people find this cruelty entertaining that offends me.
Schadenfreude is not something to be proud of.
