Yoko Shimomura did the music for Legend of Mana, Secret of Mana was done by Hiroki Kikuta.
I'm surprised that you didn't ask him why the music from the first level of Jim Power sound so much like "the lava pit" from Ys 3.

Funny I'm not the guy who has " national pride" or something like that but it's cool that in an international world where germany normally sucks guys like him help standing out and also in a subject I love so much.
