Well that sound track was not really nothing special. Just typical game music for game from that era.

  • Remmus  - how do you want it cut off?
    avatar

*rolls out a asortment of knifes from thin kitchenknifes to a meatcleaver*

sorry to say it Benzaie but I have played this....big bro owned a Atari ST...so how do want it cut?

So, this is the Ivanhoe game you were telling me about? Hmm. It seems pretty sweet. I mean for a game on that system. It has decent graphics. I'd play it. I like some fighting games. You do have a talent of getting people to want to play this game. I thought was based on the movie. Ah well. Good review of a game I really didn't know.

  • Lim-Dul  - Hitpoints?
    avatar

Hmmm - is it just me or do your hitpoints mysteriously never go down even though you get own pretty heavily? ^^

Well - it's about the music anyway - good job with the choice.

  • benzaie  - ahahah

I can seriously say I have played Ivanhoe. It was at my uncle's house. I lost in the first few minutes!

The music for this game is pretty awesome. I love 8-bit music. That's why I cherish my Nintendo so much :D
The game looks pretty awesome too, I need to find it.

Yep Benzaie, I played Ivanhoe on my Amiga 500 and I remember it well (so I guess you'll have to cut...). Are you sure the Amiga soundtrack was inferior to this one? I know Atari ST had a better sound chip but to be honest this soundtrack sounds pretty bad - I've heard better instruments on NES!

actually as it's said in the video; the tracks are actually different, from one version to another and I like the ATARI ST tracks better, but the composition is different from one version to another...

Watched this show a million times as a kid.

  • Bryguy87  - nice soundtrack and gameplay
    avatar

    looks like a sweet game

  • S_Pac_3:16  - Nope...
    avatar

can't say I have played Ivanhoe. Interesting music though...

Never played or heard of the game. But the soundtracks aren't so bad. :)

Nice video, the game looks pretty cool but I'd rather have the voice over than the text. I find the text distracts from what is going on in the video.

  • gasto5  - Wow, cool game.
    avatar

Wish I had played this game at its epoch. Too bad some people played it, and now you'll loose your phallus.

Thank you for making me remember this game! Yes I used to play it, no please dont cut any body parts in two. ;)
I loved it (the graphics were really good for its time, and the music was awesome) even if it always kicked my butt. ESPECIALLY that horse-riding scene. Gamers have it easy these days... ;)

  • XyNo  - Samples ?!
    avatar

Little Drum sample ?! It's not a sample, it's a simple and short Noise making a metronome style beat (4 in a bar) made with the YM2149 (soundchip of the Atari ST)...Sorry to write these words and looks like a real douche but I just loooove that soundchip !!! hahaha
    and btw I love the Fade-out arp at 4 : 00 !!! :D
