I gave up on trying to beat Dead Rising like a year ago but thanks to your tips I think I can finally do it! :woohoo:

I didn't think it was necessarily that hard. The hardest part was simply the piss-poor AI on the friendly characters. They act like small children with down syndrome.

I didn't know about those submachine guns, i'll have to go back and find em, they'd definately make life easier.

Also, if anyone's interested, an easy way to defeat the Cons in the jeep is to jump off a zombie's shoulder onto one of the roofed areas around the park, the Con's AI is crap so they'll crash into one of the pillars holding up the roof and not move or shoot, so you can take them out from above.

Thank you Benzaie, you just helped me quickly defeat the annoying as fuck prisoners, imagine trying to kill them while escorting a civilian (shutters)

I escorted two villages on my first try plus i managed to escape all the way to the other side, i had no items lol it was my freinds game.

ok now as he just said chainsaw is a kickass weapon a must have for you weapon inventory, but... there is three books that make the chainsaw last 9 times as long, seriously it will be the only weapon you need by this
first off in the book store under the cafe in alfresca plaza there are the first two books to get advances on it this will make it last 6 times as long but wait where is the third book? you know that book store where you find the asian tourists? in the same book store you can find the criminal minds book which will give you the full 9 times double damage with your other two books, by now you should have the mini chainsaw by beating the clown boss and remember the chainsaw respawns when you leave that part of the mallso you can just keep coming back for more, but i would sudgest you never get more than three, you want to keep some stock slots open for food and power ups and queens, well there is another time you have all been FAQ'D

Great video man, plus I was wondering how I could beat that annoying hillbilly (though otherwise, I demolished the game).

there are four ways as said, most known idiotic way is by stealing a sniper by god knows what method
then there is killing the convicts gun
then there is get lots of health run up at him and hit him with a mini chainsaw a couple of times

but for time you have neither of these fear not cause here is a better solution that is proven to work

ok so what your gonna wanna do, is get as far in the gam until you get your queens, the two free ones you get after the small cutscene showing you how they effect zombies, these two are not so vital, but helpful, then go get some food and the katana at the cafe spot, ok your geared up but what about weapons? well cop pistols arent so bad when you land headshots in, so... nah forget it, we'll leave those... for now so stack up on two uzies and lets go kill that hillbilly, ok right after his cutscene where he blows a guys guts out and shoots him through the friggin door, make like the flying corpse AND GET THE HELL OUTA THERE only opern the door to the right (on outside) left (from inside) because there is a small glitch they didnt notice, the ai cant hit you when your behind the door and you aim with your right hand so you can now shoot from behind the door landing bullets into his fat ass and if you ever run out of bullets well make a sacrifice and go get the three cop zombies guns from inside a narrow corridor down the hall
after several hundred bullets later, he should get his come upons

You should do a FAQ you on God of War. I simply can't get past the rolling-floors-getting- raped-by-harpies-while archers-are-shooting-at- you part on god difficulty.

I'm a little surprised you didn't talk about some of the books.

When you use certain books with the mini chain-saws, they will make them damn near unbreakable.

Also, using the cars in the underground tunnel is an excellent way to get PP.

Wow I got FAQ'ed hard on that game, really useful tips to get someone into that game. Really fun game, I've played quite alot of it round friends but never picked it up for myself, I will someday.

As an huge zombie movie fan, I always dreamt about a game like Dead Rising, but i hate time limits in games so much that the mere existance of a time limit in this game is ruining it for me.

It reminds me of Shen Mue. I really bought into the Shen Mue hype back then when it came out for the Dreamcast and it was expensive but when i played it for the first time and learned that there is a time limit, i was so pissed, i never touched the game again.

Time limits are not just the laziest, but the generally worst possible way to increase the dificulty level of a game.

I just saw a lot more of Benzaie than I ever wanted to.

This just made me want to play that game again. I gave up after getting killed by those prisoners >_>

Huh, was that the Wii version? I know it's been a few years since I'm played the 360 version, but I don't remember an inventory system in that version.

Couldn't you only use the current weapon you picked up?

The last time I played the game, I didn't have a HDTV, so I couldn't read the text at all.
That made it pretty hard to enjoy the game.
