I think I've seen peddlars hawking those N64 rip-off thingies in the next town, and I very distinctly remember playing those Tomytromic things (never had one myself, I had to borrow a cousin's). I too remember wanting an Astro Wars game and never getting one; bet it's not as exciting as my fevered childhood imagination made it out to be.
I look forward to these reviews with great anticipation!
You have such an awesome voice.
Those look really old and fun. The only thing I remember having similar to these was this old Donkey Kong electronic game that was in the shape of the classic arcade machines.
I had that one too. I also had that tomytronic 3D thing he showed. I actually played that a lot as a kid and had a really good time with it. It's a really easy game now that I think about it, but it was really cool back then.

09.17.2009 - 06:11 | SagetimRadical Tank Assault was from the late 90's or early 2000's, I remember it from sometime around middle school I think it was, so...yeah. maybe 1998 or 99? I'm not entirely sure, but it's not nearly as old as some of the other stuff there.

Dr. Ashens, if you want to check out the dates on some of the older machines, a good place to start is handheldmuseum.com: great site, lots of pictures of the older handheld games, very informative.
And speaking of handhelds, I have one of those grey block-game/calculators. The games are great time-wasters, and having a calculator around is convenient.
Used to have Space Invader (the Entex game). It's a nice Space Invaders clone...but then, Entex made a lot of fun handheld LED games.
Can't wait for the new slew of videos! Heck, I usually stop by your site to have fun watching the older ones! Keep it great!

09.17.2009 - 09:41 | ReeperTheSeekerI really thought that was an N64 controller, the review of that thing will be very interesting.

i can wait to see reviews of these toys, i love these weird retro consoles, i think everyone must have a brick game calculater i have one in purple, though for some reason it has the classic games but no tetris, which is odd as on the only button it has it says rotate, but none of the other games feature rotating things.
Hello! This video was filmed to test out a new phone camera and was never intended to be linked at TGWTG. We've had a bit of a communications SNAFU which has somehow ended up with this being posted. Apologies to viewers who were expecting a proper video.
Really? Well it was an interestin watch nonetheless, so ya dont have to worry about us not being entertained
