Odd. Every time I try to watch this it loads for quite a while then cuts to an ad for 30 seconds, comes back and asks me if I want to replay the video. Is it just me?

Turned out to be a bit Repetitive, but I kinda expected that - it is a hack and slash. Still pretty fun in the Epic locations from the movies, especially when you go on with 3 of your buddies.
After this Video were caught up, you should see more of our newer videos for games coming soon (instead of games already released), we've improved I think, hope you guys like it... We will alternate videos soon though so you can see some more of what we've covered in the past...

I wish this game will have as many badass mods as the Battlefront series. It reeeeally sucks that only you can have only 16 players per team, when in Battlefront you could have like 32.

I can't tell if this is just a sophisticated parody, if it's all sarcasm, or if it's serious. Because LOTR: Conquest is one of the worst games EVER. Not only it's not very fun and enjoyable for its gameplay, the graphics kinda suck and most importantly it murders Tolkien lore horrendously. And not only book fans are going to throw up when they see a gondorian mage casting lightning spells, but movie fans hate it too, because it's just SO poorly made. The controls are broken, you have like two attacks and a couple of unusable combos. It's unbalanced and if you don't hate the idea of a rohirrim assassins running around cloaked, you just have to hate the bloody flaming sword every gondorian warrior wields. Where are some shields? Why does everyone wear their stupid weapons on their backs? Arrows don't behave like arrows, they leave visible trails, riding a mount is ridiculous and broken...And epic battles? you mean like - 10 guys fighting each other with a few stuffed bots in the background? ROTK the game had bigger battles than this, hell - play a really epic fighting game - Mount and Blade! It's going to have a multiplayer expansion released this fall. And there is a LOTR mod and I bet it's going to be ten times better than this crappy EA shitfest.
This game is just bad. I really wonder if these videos by Angry Joe are meant seriously.

First, it looks like tihs was made before the game came out. Second, I don't think these are meant to be taken 100% seriously - these are comedy game sketches, not serious reviews.

Well guess what... the game sucks. First of all - its based on the films, and those were weak. Secondly - it sucks my balls, to see it made by EA which is, in my opinion, the most shitty company to ever ravage the known universe.
And joe - don't get me wrong - it's nothing personal, it's not like I hate you or anything, but... you suck. Your a cool person, and your talented, but, you suck. I would love to see movies made BY YOU but WITHOUT YOU. You are a GREAT director, but a week internet personality.
LOTR sucks... oh sorry - I already said that.

What can I say not funny. Boring. Pointless.
No realy enachments of LOTR scenses, no funny lines, no actual jokes, glorifying a game because they probably got sponsored. No serious review. Some dude kicking air playing funny. 10 minutes of my life wated.

Yea, the Top Reasons are a comedy thing, not to be taken seriously, just watch them to see what kinda parodies we come up with for the games, and what kinda crappy special effects i've learned recently.
If your looking for serious analysis i'd recommend Sage's stuff hes pretty good. But ive also got some more "traitional" TGTWG stuff coming up "Next-Gen Garbage Reviews" first up - Secret Service for Xbox 360. Were also prototyping a weekly show were we get serious and talk about the top 5 news stories of the week, hand out awards, and play trailers, new screenshots of upcoming games and gauge their hype rating and possible level of success...
So if your not feelin' the "Top Reasons" series, bear with me guys, I know I can impress you yet. Should have a pretty funny 50 Cent & Skate 2 Game Preview up soon!

I know this is an older video and I haven't had a chance to see your newer ones, so any criticism I ever have is based on the videos I've seen here alone and not your complete work.
I know you have talent, it's very obvious, you're great with facial expressions and your voice when you're putting over how awesome you think the game is/will be. The thing that slightly turns me off is that sometimes (not all the time) I get the feeling that I'm watching a local commercial on tv where some goofy guy is trying overly hard to get you to visit his store or something like that. Also when I'm watching a video related to videogames, I'm used to seeing images or videos of the videogame at one point or another at least so I know what you're talking about. I haven't played L4D or any of the LOTR games so for me it'd be cool to see a little bit of that in your videos, I think it'd make it feel more complete to see you talking about a subject, and also getting to see the subject as well.
The more I think about it, your videos are not all that bad for what they are, you are definitely good at what you do, I would just like to see you improve and maybe add a little more to your videos. You have a lot of personality, I have a feeling that you have potential as an actor or promoter for something.

I'm not saying worship the films because they all wowed critics, took a large chunk out of the developed world to make or because the third won every Oscar it was nominated for...but christ. Were they really that bad? Were they a total bomb? Hardly. And they wouldn't necessarily set this mediocre game up for disaster.[b][/b]

Jeeez. This guy and his "sidekick" gets more and more annoying. He tries to be funny, but he's got no sense of comedy at all. Making references to the film classics doesn't make You neither funny nor interesting. And You are NOT ANGRY, You just SCREAM. Besides, there are already too many "angry critics" around and they're way better to be honest.

Do not listen to this man! He is blinded by the lies of *Grasp* EA GAMES! LOTR Conquest is bad! Yes, maby its better for xbox, or something, but the computer version is so bad i feel like throwing up in my lap and getting a donkey to ride me to El Paso! Okeee, Maby that is a bit harsh, but the PC version is so buuged... the grapichs are awefull and the gameplay STINKS! If oyu want to try it for a console, fine, But do not buy the PC version!

This guy must not have played the demo and he must not have seen the abomination that Haze was. Haze was made by a fantastic developer with great titles to rely on and yet it ended up blowing. Just because the developer made good games =/= all games will be great.
Anyway, this sketch is quite mediocre to me. If he's trying to be funny he isn't doing a very good job of it. The reasons aren't very funny nor is the delivery of the explanations. If this is supposed to be half-serious then it's pretty poor. Of course, this is just my opinion and if people like this guy then that's cool, too.

This game was actually that good that i bought it beat it on all 3 difficulties Casual, heroic and LEGENDARY on 2days man, even kicked up Co-op LAN with a friend we beat on like few hours and shit(on the PC) as for the game itself i'm not gonna spoil anything but there are about 9 levels for the good site and 7levels for the evil site 4 classes to choose from for most of the levels get to play a hero Character each level (usually for the end of it)

It's pretty okay like the battlefront games for an online game It doesn't have that big of a lifespand, considering it's been 8years since the first movie was releashed i think they should really give full love into their games have a huge amount of content you'd think that the Lord of the rings MMORPG was a good idea, i loved the idea when that was coming out i lasted for about 1 week on it before i canceled my account cause it just wasn't that fun man cheesy story line no damn horses man untill you reached like level 50 that's bullcrap you don't wanna walk for 30min if you wanted to do that you might aswell go outside and walk!!!:'(

In all honestly,
The video was built around the Special effects Test (which is amateur as hell) so I definitely don't think its the best we've done. Sometimes we just like to get excited about games we want to like, and dont have time to make the "Top Reasons It will Suck" Version.
But I seriously read everyone's comments here for the feedback and discussion, I think its great. The Angryjoe character i'll admit isn't very angry sometimes, especially in the top reasons the game kicks ass because its a positive slant. You'll see more of the angry come out in our reviews and previews rather than the top reasons series.

Ive been adding more and more game footage and analysis to me more recent videos and focusing less on the parodies, but i dont want to lose what makes Joe unique from the other guys. thanks for your well laid out criticisms, alot better than, this guys eye brows are HUGE and I HATE HIM, haha.
