I really dunt see nothing wrong with the plot for the game as long as the MK movie creators have nothing to do with this and there is plenty of fatalities and ripping hearts thats okay and hey MK rules the universe

MK vs DCU is truly awesome fighting game but so is also SF4. Oh and about plot, who cares is it canon or not as long as it servers its purpose (explains why they are fighting) in game like that.

MK vs. DC destroyed my faith in humanity.

I bought the game in the hopes of making Joker kill everyone, including Superman & deffinately Catwoman. Best video game cutscenes ever. Great Joker, pretty good Mark Hamill voice imitation. Batman sounded like Wolverine; that was funny.

I love cross overs, they should do a, MK VS DC VS Marvel VS SNK VS CAPCOM VS Street Fighter, That would Kick Asss, I bet it would come out for the Ps 6 or 9, but heck :P

MK vs DC is an ok game it has it's problem but it's much better than MK: Armageddon.

And it's best game that DC characters have appeared in well since that Batman game on the NES.

Right, well since you asked not to review the bullshit story (and you're awesome) I'll just pull up the long list of other atrocities the game committed. :evil:

Namely 1: Being that it obliterated the sentimental value of MK by censoring the fatalities. For those of us who grew up in the 90's, MK's bloodbath is what we have come to know and love the most about it. And now DC doesn't want kiddies seeing their favorite heroes ripped limb from limb, so they think "oops, can't have that. Make it off screen and cut out the blood"

Bull crap.

Namely 2: Battle Rage. Some excuse they pulled out of their ass to explain why their heroes are suddenly at each other's throats and how the Joker can beat Superman to submission with his bare fists. Apparently the heroes are so violent because MK's universe has something called the Battle Rage which inflicts people with overwhelming blood lust. Any actual fan of MK would know this is not true in the slightest.

Finally 3: The DC characters have the gall to lecture the MK characters about the moral repercussions to killing and violence. This wasn't an MK and DC game, this was a very desperate attempt to booster the fans of DC's numbers. And after watching this game, I think it's safe to say that they only served to piss fans off even more.

Sorry for the rant, but when I first saw this game, I thought "wow, awesome!" at face value. But after looking closer into the game, I was furious with what we were given.

Dude reptile was fucking HILARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing at that dude.

For me this game had a lot of potential but one serious problem. When you think of mortal kombat you probably instantly think of one thing, fatalities. That is where this game sucked for me. Mortal Kombat should never be rated T. Aside from that it was fun we finally have a hot 3d Sonya, the final boss is cool, and the stories are interesting. I didn't care for some of the dc characters because they were clones of other mk characters lex is sektor and flash is kabal. Thats another complaint why isnt kabal in this game he is mentioned once as being as fast as flash so shouldn't they be a good fight, and no Reptile like you said Reptile kicks ass. The problem probably was dc not having a fanbase as big as mk and a lack of knowable characters. I can name at least 20 mk characters that should have been in it, but dc ones all i got is roarsach nightowl robin and aquaman. Then again I've always been a Marval fan.
