Oh, and its got to be Federation. The character customization alone gets me hard for em.

The Klingon Empire have the same system. It's only called "Klingon" because they are the bossiest race of that faction.

I laughed until I screamed when the klingons showed up. I still laugh while I write this.
As for what faction you should choose, I will be on an European server so we wont get to game together but I strongly suggest Federation. If you choose Federation you will be the angriest most rebellious Federation officer they have but if you choose Klingon you will probably be a considerate moderate. One in a Klingon Crowd nothing more. Federation!

This is simply a fun way to announce two things: The release date for STO and a Vote for what side we will play on.

Man some people have a really odd way of looking at things.

First of all, I have never seen anyone miss the point of a video so much in my life.

Secondly, the Ackbar part was in reference to one of Joe's previous videos, so i suppose if you hadn't seen that one, you wouldn't have got it like regular Angry Joe viewers

It's to announce the unofficial release date and to call for a vote.
The problem is the way it's brought. The Ackbar footage was cheap - youtube is full of 12yo's pasting footage from Trek and Wars and calling it a "fan film", so was the Sovereign footage, and Joe was just sitting in a chair in front of a computer generated background. Wow!
And the whole singing part was unfunny, unrealistic, unfunny, and did I mention unfunny?
Don't you agree that this vid would have been much better if Joe got some Trekkies to describe the ships (show some effort!) and battle footage demonstrating the ships?
This vid is just Joe talking and cheap copy-paste work. Even the AGVN could do better - though Joe is admitably a little bit better then the 12yo's on Youtube.

After that display of illogical behavior from both parties. I'd go with data and Mr. Spock and join the federation

I'm more of a Romulan person as well. However, if I had to choose between the two it's a tough one. I had always assumed the Klingon were based off of Samurai, aren't they? While I'm a fan of the Bird of Prey, nothing beats the shear might of a Starfleet Armada. When you see that Armada get ready to kick some serious ass in DS9 you know the Federation ain't messing around. The diversity of the the ships is great with the Federation and let's face it, that's why you play a game like this, for the ships and the Armada. I would have to say Federation all the way as well.

I guess I'll have to go with the Federation.

Start your own faction and join forces with Dr Insano, the federation and Klingons will not stand a change ^_^
Though if you go Federation you'll make them more badass so i'd go with them

Normally I play with the EVIL ones , because their story is always kind of interesting to see. But if I had to choose by watching these two song-videos, I'd probably go with Picard, because his song was... well... just unbelievable...
