I played Red Faction 2 I think, it was pretty fun with friends, this one should be pretty good too I would think.

I want this game, looks like a simpler command and conquer, which is what i want since command and conquer is very very confusing

Two major differences between these two games. Command and Conquer is an RTS game, the Red Faction games are shooters.

i loved the first game. i forgot why i didn't buy the 2nd one. but the first game i enjoyed. though the plot was simple, was still fun. "they screwed you over, now break out!" can't wait for guerrilla. just hope its as good as it looks. i want it to look feel like im breaking stuff, will be such a let-down if its not what it seems to be.

Yep. We've been talking about doing a Vlog video for it, whatever he's doing is working out pretty well and he wanted to share his tips.

Oh lordy... I tried the demo for this, and right outta the gate, I HATED the game. The controls felt clunky, the enemies overpowered, and for almost every objective, it seems, there's a time limit!

Pro Tips:
Try Zooming in when shooting and aiming for the Head, after I did this the game became alot easier.

Your almost always going to be outnumbered since your a rebel, even the odds by grabbing a vehicle and squishing peoples.

There's only one objective and it has a time limit during the Demo.

Give it one more try.

*laughing* that was the best. destroying your surroundings is a blast. for me anyway. i love it when i'm cranky then just go off and blow something up. good for the soul.......bouncing and you're shooting! its in my head ^^

I remember playing a demo of Red Faction and being pretty impressed. Looking back the destructible environments don't look very impressive, but the fact that now you have these gigantic constructions made of thousands of set pieces, the environments look much more awesome to destroy.

Throughout the whole clip I was thinking you guys are at the very edge of descending into madness. Actually giving a preview was on a thin threat from the very beginning. Then something pushed you over the edge at the end.

Destructible environment, Arnie on Mars, a talking tumor, a sledgehammer more powerful than a bazooka, bouncy-bouncy ... hmm .. now that I think about it - no wonder it was too much at the end!

I gotta say this game is awesome, I just played the demo and just started obliterating everything with the mech I was to retrieve.....Then the demo ended..

I cannot wait for this game to come out.

I didnt really like the demo, the no health bar trend is getting lame, the shooting doesnt feel grounded and it felt like another "Point A to Point b" type of shooter with a bald space marine.

But

I bet the multiplayer is going to be DY-NO-MY-TE.
Multiple modes, destructible environment and anti-gravity/flight, all the good components for a great multiplayer WAR !

Yea, it kinda does, its in my nature to have immediate reactions.

I have to do my best about being diplomatic about people putting BS comments on my stuff. I do my best to reply to everyone so I eventually see these kinda guys. You'd think people would take advantage of actually having the producer interact with his fans (some of us cant, for various reasons)

I Know what kinda videos get the most views, but i'm not about that. Red Faction wasnt getting very much attention but it surprised me, hope it turns out to be good.

I almost forgot this game was coming out. I remember catching a few "Making Of" videos... jeez, like a year ago, and it caught my interest. Thanks for reminding me.

Alas, the company behind the game, like so many others, have for some reason decided it's in their best interests not to release a PC Demo. Something about the Demo's exe just letting pirates practice for their product (which is crap. The game will be cracked before it's even shipped, or within the week, demo.exe or not).

Personally, I don't care for the outright goofy/sillyness, but that's not to say it's bad of course, just not to my taste. And obviously it's not enough to keep me away.

One thing I thought was curious: You bleep yourselves when you use language, but you didn't bleep the music or movie clips, which had a decent amount. I don't have a problem with language (obviously not, as I'm on the internet), just thought I'd point that out.
