That weapon design is awesome. I've already went to the site and voted for it. It seems to have more views than all the other weapons, but for some reason the rating on it isn't the best. I think it's being down vote spammed....

Unfortunately EA didnt implement a very good rating system.

Apparently when you reload the page or navigate to another page of weapons then come back you can vote again.

This has lead to some spammers down voting the weapon and up voting their own. I've even gotten some hate mail telling me they will down vote our gun into oblivion, LoL. Ah the internet.

I've already contacted EA about it and they are aware of the issue - the best thing to do is to just vote and play by the rules.

There will be 5 Finalists from the US and 5 Finalists from Europe.

From those designs "judges" will select 1 from each region so at least the final decision isnt up to these trolls - its just unfortunate that that some guns might not get the opportunity because others have nothing better to do than to sit at home all day reloading a page down voting other good weapons and up voting their own garbage.

I know someone said earlier on your website Joe, but it says in the rules "Be appropriate for the Army of Two world (that is, no fanicful weaponry like laser guns, vaporizers, etc. – the weapons as designed should appear to be of the sort that could be found on a battlefield today); and not have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly (i.e., disclosed beyond your immediate circle of friends and family) through any means previously..."

But I hope they make an exception cuz the gun is bad ass!!

But the thing is he didn't exhibit or display it until after it was submitted, so he is still eligible for the contest. The key word here is previously, and that is something that was avoided.

What about the gun do you find fanciful or fantasy? Or laser gun like?

Its an assault rifle. with a shotgun.

Air burst shells are completely possible and there are working prototypes in the market.

From the number of views and votes, and the amount of people targeting it for hate, I'd say this is the gun to beat and they know it, and are threatened by it.

I'm hoping that the gun is bad ass enough on its own so that you go to the site you look at all of the submissions and you still think its the best of the bunch - thats the ultimate goal.

The prototype gun is finished and I sent it to some various manufacturers to see how much it would cost to place an order for about 5,000 Rifles - that should cover at least our special-ops division "The Untouchables".

After we annex some territory, pillage the land and have our way with the wymans We should have enough to place an additional order for about 50,000 Rifles - Do you think that's enough?

ok so if you hit featured and choose the ass kicker you can vote a 5 and if you click details you can yet again vote a 5 so apparently you can go back and forth between both of these voting over and over all you want. since it seems that people are trying to down vote our gun we of the angryjoe army must respond in force.

Nice gun, i'll vote for it. But one thing bothers me. Is it just but isn't the butt of the gun too close to the handle? Seems like you arm is gonna be at a really awkward angle.
Oh, and i really like taser-grenade idea.

Well, actually its not the "butt" which is too short, its the rifle too long cuz i wanted it to look more massive, like almost granade launcher, but didnt wanted to make it too fat or with too many useless accesories...so i decided to make it a little longer than usual assault rifles so its like Lancer Gun from Gears of War...its a overthetop weapon...but you still can belive it would be useful on a real battleground ^^.

And its not a tazer-granade launcher...its tazer-shotgun with spikes that attaches to the enemy body and stuns him after a couple of seconds .

Also the Clip shown is a shorter version - there is a longer version of the clip that holds more rounds.

Being someone who loves his FPS this is a gun that I feel would be worth of the gaming world.

I will take my newly rank into the virtual world and make sure that people know and see the AS-KR1 and if/when they see it in the game they know that this weapon is the one to use for most if not ALL missions, or at least be like all the other guns and be one of the "higher level guns", that needs to be unlocked.

Nice design. Reminds me of a mix between the Lancer from GoW and the Dragon assault rifle from Perfect Dark 1-2.

The weapon actually seems entirely plausible. I saw on Discovery how the U.S Army had developed a battle shotgun that uses a drum magizine, just like your gun. It's still a protype, but works withoug any problems. They even produced exploding cartridges for it besides normal cartridges. I can only describe it as deadly, it could literally tear apart enemies and cover alike.

The only thing I can imagine that makes the weapon unrealistic would probably its supposed weight and the kickback.
Then again this is only a game, so no worries.

KICK ASS WEAPON! I checked all featured ones, and I know we fans tend to automatically BS you with "wow your weapon rocks blah blah blah"... but seriously, I'm being dead serious... AWESOME! in probably IS the best one I saw there, so I voted for it.. also the crucifier looks really cool, but it's hard to believe someone working as a military contractor would use a makeshift hardware store weapon, and as for the chainszuka... it would be pretty awesome in a not-too-realistic game, but it just wouldn't fit...
