How I am going to afford them? Well, I am planning on saving some for Christmas. My parents usually want me to say what I want for Christmas. Usually, I get some games. I also get paid every week. I'll be saving some. The Nintendo points are easiest I think.

I really want World of Goo on the Wii since my comp version decided not to work. Nuts.

I might get Pokemon Dungeon Sky. I don't know. I have the other DS Dungeon games. They are okay. But, damn annoying to evolve. I think for Pokemon it's best to stick with the main games and Heart Gold and Soul Silver aren't coming until next spring.

I could import. That AND the new Chibi robo game.

How's this strategy Joe? Just chipping away at things. I MAY get a DS game if and i mean IF I get enough points from Best Buy's reward zone.

I'm trying to decide on buying Brutal Legend, I liked the demo, but I'm probably gonna rent it first. Of course next month is Assassin's Creed, that's the game I want the most, I can wait on anything else. So, yeah, that's how I afford it, there's only one game I want above all others.

I woulda been spending more if Mass Effect 2 hadn't gotten delayed.

I'm not buying any games that come our this month. I did get a job finally at a Halloween costume shop, so I'm gonna go back and buy some of the games I missed out on while I was broke.

Oh it's simple, Joe, I only require a few games that will hurt me only a little. I only want Brutal Legends, Left 4 Dead 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Way of the Samurai 3 (call me a sucker for indie games that rocked) that will hurt me about 240 bucks. What I plan on doing to get that dough is rather easy. Three simple words, Grand Theft Auto style beat the hookers until money pops out of their asses.....ok that was more than three words but you get the idea! Failing that I plan to do the reasonable thing and take the games that have failed me for the last time and trade them in at gamestop, a lot of the games on there have 25% extra credit going for newer games. Goodbye MUA2...I won't spoil it for those who haven't played it yet but...what were they thinking?

+1 for Hooker Beating to obtain money.

So that's $300, only reasonable way to pay for that is to work at Gamestop, might get a good discount and can cut the middle man by not signing over a paycheck to them.

I'll most likely purchase CoD and keep it then start buying the other big titles 1 at a time, returning them to the local gamestop (knowing the staff is a god send)and buying the next.

(on a side note I cringe as a total up the price)

Brutal Legend got me so amped I must buy it.
I downloaded the demo to prevent the swine flu and it was kick ass.

Pre-ordered Brutal legend back in June (I rigged up a booby trap around it so it will be safe), so that's covered. I'm getting Fallout 3 GYE by selling blood, um...not really interested in other games (till border lands and Bioshock 2 come out) but I do have some plans if you want to use them.

1. The sign and grab: Games are delivered via Fedex to gamestop locations. All you have to do is dress in a black polo and lanyard tag, sabotage the gamestop manager's bowels or car and intercept the fedex truck when it delivers the game (usually fifteen to thirty minutes prior to the store opening). Sign the form, wave goodbye to the truck driver, and Snatch one out of the box and leave the rest on the counter.

2. Chat up marketing teams (not the execs though). Give them compliments about the advertising and packaging and they'll tell you where the new games are being kept. Ninja in there and take your pick.

3. Okay, so you want to raise the money? Okay...blood and sperm take too long to get physicals for, three card monte rarely works anymore, and paychecks never come fast enough, so I would suggest panera night for some of your army. Seriously, I had a club do a Panera night and we made $350 in one night. All we had to do was just get people to walk in the door and provide entertainment. Just say you and your army are a group that supports the visual arts and you should be rolling in enough to get you through October.

4. Okay, if that didn't work, you are going to have to either take FEV and use your supermutant strength to knock over several stores or wrestle a grizzly bear at a child's birthday party (got me through my Freshman year).

The only new release I plan on buying in the next couple months is Dragon Age for the PC. I haven't played a bad Bioware game yet!

To get that game I'd smash and grab money from little kids piggy banks if I had to. Maybe even steal their lunch money.

In Response to your Question Angry Joe, For the Games I want.
Games: Tekken 6 for PS3 & PSP.

Cost: 60-90 dollars in total (or a lesser value if used used copies are available on ebay.)
As for my method of Payment: In getting these games I'll either search Ebay for a used copy that has a lesser value than the full price, (Give or take 30-40 dollars as long as the game works and is fully functional.) Wait a few weeks for enough money to be saved from my job since I make a considerable amount but of course Budget it out. or possibly put the games in my christmas list for December if I can't make the money during the course of October or November (I'm having Terrible Money Trouble at the moment.)

3. Well luckily for me, I have family members willing to buy me games for Christmas, along with the occasional $50 gift card. Of course I usually buy stuff for them too, so its not all win for me. And even so, that probably won't even count for all of the games I want that I wont be buying (Ultimate Alliance 2, Brutal Legend, SvR10, R&C Future, Arkham Asylum, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2). But that's where I use the Amazon Gift card and hope for the best.

My 21st birthday is on the 22nd. So,Ill probably use some cash from relatives who long ago gave up on trying to figure out what to get me.
Also, you could sell some of your older games...to me! I'll save money buy buying them used from soem suc-I mean money concerned gamer, and you would get my cash.
Seriously though, you can sell stuff like that on Amazon.com. Try it out.

I definitely want "Brutal Legend..." but I don't have an X-Box. I'm waiting for the PC release, which has no date yet and no demo.
Considering "Left 4 Dead 2" (it hurts me to type that title), but not sure yet; I need to know that it's worth it first, and for some stupid reason the demo is only available to the people who have already pre-purchased it.

I manage to dodge Broketober a bit because my birthday falls at the beginning of the month, but that usually only nets me one game if I'm lucky. I usually have to hold out on games until after the winter holidays, see what I can pick up with gift cards or at a reduced price in January.
