I may be wrong, but I was pretty sure that the nerdy guy eventually DID become the fifth Ghostbuster.
As a matter of fact, him & Jeanine were the only stars in a few of the episodes.

This game is gonna fucking rock customizable characters or no! Ghostbusters!

I really hope this game lives up to everyone's expectations. I preordered it just so I could get the Staypuft stuffed toy, so I'm getting it tomorrow, and I will be TICKED if it ends up sucking (also if I don't get my toy, but still... )

Man, I'm looking forward to playing this game - can't wait to play it! Over the course of the coverage of this game they talked about how this is basically the third installment of the franchise. On various video game websites they also mentioned that Dan Akroyd has been trying to get a third movie made for decades now. He even had a script. It was about the Ghostbusters going to hell! Can you believe they didn't make that movie?! That sounds frickin AWESOME!

Yes Ghostbusters is one of my favorite series. I enjoyed both the movies, even the one with Viggo. The animated series was awesome, if everyone forgets the Slimer spin-off, and the Extreme Ghostbusters wasn't so bad, in the end. I hope they get this game right and make us feel like a Ghostbuster. The Multiplayer sounds really awesome. I really don't care that I can't customize my own character because in games like Fallout 3 you hardly saw your face and in games like Left 4 Dead and Gears of War I never heard no one complain you don't have customization in singleplayer. Yeah no CO-OP kind of sucks but the game has a real long development cycle for about 3-4 years and almost got canceled so they probably didn't have time or couldn't be coded.

No character creation system? Ahh... ! Aw well, glad to know there will be lots of Kool stuff.

The ghost cops should shoot first and ask question later. Ghost has no rights!

Ah yes, Ghostbusters. How I loved watching Ghostbusters movies when I was kid. I'm almost as hyped up as Joe is.

Man, the more I see of this game, the more excited I'm getting about it. It's already one of my most anticipated games of this year.

I do agree that 4 player co-op in the Story mode would be cool, though. I don't really care about the character creator, however...the player character kinda looks like me, anyway.

Just remember Joe, the life of a Ghost Cop can be hard and thankless, but without you, there would be chaos! ...and slime. Lots of slime.

I don't care about being able to customize. In order for that to even be any fun, they need to put a lot of effort into it. So I'm glad they just concentrated on the important stuff.

I mean, games have such high standards nowadays. It's no wonder creativity keeps being stifled. :/

But I DO agree on the "no four player co-op". I would have thought that was a no brainer, especially if you know your videogame history.

Great episode, Joe. I watch your show from time to time, and I think this is one of your best. Ghost Cops was serious LOLs.

Anyway, I have to disagree with you on one little thing. As much as I want this game to be good, I think the best movie tie-in game will always be GoldenEye 64. It was a game-changer in the industry, so unless Ghostbusters brings something really REALLY new to us, GoldenEye will stay on top.

Anyway, good job on the show and the humor. Can't wait to see more.
