I think Sins of a Solar Empire is a Friggin' great game. Im a sucker for anything with space battles, and I never would have thought that this mixture of 4X and RTS strategy would have worked so well. The scope of the zoom in this game is amazing!

and I've always wanted to go Toe to Toe with Ackbar, I thought I could take him. Guess not....He's a slippery one!

Hahaha! Admiral Ackbar! God I don't know why that's so funny to me, but it is. Even worse is your proximity mines completely failed... I might consider picking this game up--oh wait nevermind my computer has trouble playing Solitare. Still, I may consider it when I get a better machine.

Maybe I'm a sucker for Star Wars, but I enjoyed that quite a bit.

Angry Joe, you have a privileged face and you know how to use it, WITHOUT making a fool of yourself. This was my favorite AJS review so far. It is the most in tune with your nature, which to me is more about being hyper than being angry. I suppose it's too late to change it to Hyper Joe (doesn't sound as cool either, oh well...)
On a side note, you should be a bit more careful with that audio. The contrast between close and far range and some volume contrasts are the only distractors I could find.
Anyway, this vid lightened up my day, and I bet many other viewer's. Keep em coming!

Regardless though If I hate a game or like I game I try to have fun all the same in the video, I could just cuss up a storm I suppose i'd rather not.

Try the demo of Sins, you might like it - maybe you wont. I know spoony thinks Sins is boring, but I cant imagine he's been in some of the games I've had, boring is impossible when things get started...

Worse, most of his pitches sound like he doesn't know anything about what he's talking about. The base mechanics of the 4X formula exists in most RTS' to date, though most prominent in games such as the "Age of" series, Empire Earth and Black & White, so it really isn't anything new.

My other complaint is that for calling himself "Angry Joe" he's not really angry, more resembling the typical EXTREME infomercial salesman of the 80s. Or the Shamwow guy.

Hey Another Joe! What gives man, we need to stick together.

I might agree that the fundamentals of the game might not be that "revolutionary" but Its a very intelligent hybrid of two genre's we've seen in the past in space games.

Its got a larger Learning Curve that most RTS, but its worth the effort.

And I hear what you guys are saying about me not being Angry 100% through the entire review - I don't personally think I need to be Angry at every single game - some games deserve praise. But I wanted to tell you and others that have mentioned this that i've read every comment, and I will address this soon!

I like the review, I think I am either growing into the character a little but it's mostly and improvement... going in the right direction. (I couldn't stand the first episodes)

BTW, if you like Strategy games I strongly recommend Company of Heroes
