I recommend watching Shock Shock Shock back to back with Trail of the Screaming Forehead.

By the gods, that looks amazing! That water effect was especially horrendous. The "Science" conversation they had sounds like a rejected Dr. Insano skit. I have to see this movie now.

Oh and uh... Oh my goodness! What happened to your hair, Brad? Or something...

    "That knife is science"

Woww..that was one trip of a movie. Poor Lloyd defeated by the out of the blue, Spaceman. Not sure with what the producers of this film were going for besides weird imagery and random plot threads that get switched every 2 minutes. Drugs!!

I was expecting a My Girl Lollipop reference after that head was pulled off. For shame, sir.

This looks more like a film that Oancitizen would review. Nice tribute to James Gandolfini...even if he's only in the film for less than a minute.

This was a strange one, even by the standards of the films you usually review. Some of the scenes were at least...interesting, I guess.

A buzz cut just doesn't seem to work with the Snob. He's just not a buzz cut type of character.
  • mannequinmel
Well, at least the movie title fits. I truly was shocked.

I think each shock represents the sudden shifts in plot.

Oh Jesus, I have to see this film. The review footage alone made me split my sides.

So the first shock is Brad's haircut. The second shock is discovering Lloyd was in a movie. The third shock was finding out Lloyd can transform into a huge stop-motion monster thing.

Brilliant review, Brad. Looking forward to seeing more.

Suddenly from out of nowhere turning into an apparently heartfelt tribute to James Gandolfini fit in perfectly with the schizophrenic nature of this movie.

That was a very awkwardly constructed sentence.

Knowing what stickdeath.com is before watching this video makes me feel like an old man.

I actually sorta like the idea of that film. It's something I've often mused I'd do if I was a big film/TV producing personage - set up with some sort of plot with common tropes, play with it for a bit - and then abruptly right turn into something completely different, like an alien invasion or something out of a traditional cop show or whathaveyou... It's a realy cool concept.

The film looked really kind banal right up until they started going right off the wall with evil space aliens, at which point it looked *amazingly*. Silly beyond belief, but *amazing*. (Also, the evil cheif alien was fantastic. That's the sort of villain we need to see more of nowadays, someone with more mustache-twirling ham than an evil butcher's convention!)

Ah, ad-lib cinema. Truly the height of art.

    I like your haircut.

    Love to Lloyd!

Awwww I love Lloyd. Especially how he is laying there on the floor relaxing. Relaxed kitties are happy kitties.
  • Trekkie313  - WTF MOVIE!?
Seriously? Is this supposed to be a spoof of Ed Wood type movie or a really piss poor knockoff of Forbidden Zone?
  • Oblivion Mara
    This movie is GLORIOUS.

And as everyone seems to wonder about Brad's hair, I'll take a wild guess and say he lost it while on a mission in Arizona - all the more proof The Cinema Snob is in fact an alias covering his gigs as a secret agent.

(and hurray for out-of-nowhere Joker references !)

I am with Cinema Snob, one of the best things I love about being a movie buff is learning what movies famous actors had bit roles in or cameoed before taking on roles and movies that made them famous to this day.

Its a fascinating experience to see where they started from the ground up.

Why does spaceman remind me of bible man?
  • GameAngel1  - Zombie Babies
Long time fan here Cinema Snob. I thought that when I saw this movie, that it seemed to be a perfect fit for all the gloriously awful movies that you have reviewed. I'll have it watched tomorrow, but when I saw the title, I thought of putting this movie on your radar. In case it wasn't already there. Hope that you last another 200 episodes.
  • coolcatkim22
Oh my god snob! You cut all you're hair! I feel so betrayed right now.

Nah, I'm just joshing ya :p

    Who's James Gandolfini?
Oh, that fat guy from the Sopranos? I fucking hated that show. (I had a couple paragraphs here explain in depth why I hate the Sopranos, but I deleted it because no one is going to care. I just saved you from reading my rant. You're welcome.)

This was no more an art film than any of the low-budget action movies Lupa reviews. You can't disguise a lack of moviemaking ability as "art"!
  • natecain1  - Cat and Gandolfini
Love Llyod's being more involved in your skits for this film. Also, James Gandolfini's first film appearance?!!! That definitely shocked me given the movie.

I know it's been a few months but I still can't believe Gandolfini's gone. RIP
  • JeffisalsoJeff
Where can I watch this in its entirety? I have a deep passion for bizarre movies, and this looks fucking amazing!
