At first I thought maybe the wrong video was uploaded since that happens on this site sometimes, but nice reveal. Obviously this was done to cash in on the Sleepaway Camp franchise, but God knows why, maybe because it came out around the same time as those so-called comedy-horror sequels (using the term very loosely).
This movie isn't even entertaining dumb, it's just dumb. Nice to know that misanthropic environmentalist yuppies even got to horror films.

I was right with you at the "what the fu-" line when the title was revealed in the movie clip. You led me along perfectly. ^.^

I just feel sorry for all the "Sleepaway Camp" fans trying to rack thier brains around how it fits into the continuity of the previous movies, even Sleepaway Camp 4 had Angela in it and tried to fit in with the other three movies.
lol, love the introduction, the movie basically rick-rolled The Cinema Snob XD

I have a $150 camcorder and Microsoft MovieMaker, and my production values are probably better than this movie. Ugh.

You probably don't want to know how I know that word. Let's just say that if an embarassing case of dutch elm disease was involved, it would be a better story.

12.07.2012 - 08:59 | bificommanderWell, that looks aweful. I'm already not a fan of the Cinema Snob's usual review fodder (though I am of the reviews), but this was pointless and stupid even by those standards.
By the way, can the Americans in the audience explain to the Europian here if any park ranger ever would go up to a bunch of campers and hand out rifles like candy canes to go hunt a maneating animal? The way those people were handling their rifles as they set out to look for the bear, it's a miracle they didn't shoot each other.

12.08.2012 - 20:18 | ArsmithIn 1989? Good heavenly Christ, no. Well, maybe, in the sense that if there's something crazy and/or stupid you can probably find someone somewhere willing to do it. Probably would have made the news.
Considering all the other idoicy in that movie, somebody giving a bunch of rifles to a bunch of untrained tenderfeet he doesn't know and going off to hunt a bear isn't that big of a plot hole.

That scene with the killer and the girl...I wasn't sure if she was turned on or terrified or even both. I could have sworn she said, "Yeah, like that" at one point. O-O? What girl reacts like that? And yes, that is how Breaking Dawn part 1 should have ended. Then I wouldn't be disappointed by the fact that James Bond was beaten by a dumb teenager in the box office. This whole movie was weird. The cartoony music and sound effects. And it obviously had nothing to do with Sleepaway Camp. And there wasn't even much killing. You were right on the nose with this review. I laughed a lot and enjoyed it.
