They did it because they thought that someone, somewhere out there would want to see Mario Bros. porn, and the worst part is, there surely IS someone who would want to see that. T_T
Funny review Brad. All your Mario sound effects and references would have made the movie 100 times better. Too bad 100 times 0 is still 0.
Really though, they even messed up the names that bad. How could you not even know Mario wears red? You would have to live outside human contact for years to make that mistake. Of course, I don't know why I expect anything out of a porno.

I don't think so. You can critisize lots of thing about M.Night, but that "accidental humor" thing is a bad myth. This guy is not that serious in his movies. Heck, he even co-writed Stuart Little. Who said he was all about thriller and 100% pure drama ?

Don't worry, i absolutely didn't take your remark personnaly. It wasn't about offense or anything, it was just a confrontation between opinions and facts. I'm sorry if i gave you the impression that i was very upset. We're just talking about movies, after all. =)
However, i still don't understand why there is so much people talking about accidental humor, and this indeed make me very perplex. I watched this sequences countless time, and it still looks like genuinely humorous. It's hard to put jokes on drama and thriller but not impossible, and the rythm and screenplay show me intentional humour. :eyebrow:
Ah well, i'm talking about M.Night in a Super Hornio Bros comments page...unintentionaly funny circumpstances XD
