I saw this movie today and it should have been a hard R instead of PG-13, but still good. It was cheesy, but the good cheesy.
  • stonecoldku  - Best F**K you in a PG-13 possibly ever.
Since this movie was PG-13 they could only use fuck once, but they made it count. Jamie Foxx (aka President not Obama) comes face to face with the bad guy in charge and says something to the effect of "Mr. Walker I am the President of the United States and I say this with all weight and power that position instills in me. Fuck you." That is one of the best lines in a movie I have seen in a long time.
  • Gregory D.  - Thumbs up.
This movie was hilarious and I going to get it on dvd as soon as possible.

"I choose the pen!!" *stabs Walker in the back of the neck*- Cheesiest, funniest, and just best line ever! I was shocked by how enjoyable this movie was. I hope it gets good returns because they deserve it. Straight up modern day Die Hard, not just a cheap clone Brad! Come on everyone!
  • Monster Khan  - Sudden Death!

Sudden Death was definitely one of Van Damme's better movies. The reason why? Powers Boothe. He is awesome as the villain. I think that's the main reason why Van Damme's early movies were actually fun because they always cast great character actors as his villains. Powers Boothe, Lance Henriksen, Ron Silver and Dolph Lundgren were all amazing villains that made Van Damme movies so great!

They didn't get permission to film or fly around DC like that so they had to go to CGI.

I thought fake Bennett was fighting with fake Glen Beck, not Bill O'Reilly, because of all the crying.
  • Specc-O91  - Surprisingly Enjoyable.
Saw this today. Didn't think I'd like it, but I honestly did. I think it worked better because it embraced the cheese, whereas Olympus was trying too hard to wear their "Big Boy Pants." Besides, if you're gonna have a Pro-American movie, why not have an American lead?

Also, I know you guys probably won't read this, but they actually do show the watch earlier. Just before the action starts, Sawyer is on the phone with the First Lady. She asks if he still has the watch she gave him, he assures her that he does and puts it in his coat pocket. It's supposed to be a reminder that he only has a limited time to make a difference, just like President Lincoln.

Also, I didn't notice the obvious CGI helicopters. Guess I'm not jaded enough yet...
