my camera has a nice picture quality and can shoot in 720p but the sound is the problem, it doesn't even have an input to use another microphone than the one built in ! I try my best to clean the sound but I still sound like I'm talking inside of a CAN... I'm sorry when I'll get the money AND the chance I'll upgrade my material, therefore buying a new camera ...

J'ai moi même eu l'occaz de voir ce film et j'avais aussi tilté sur le coups des noirs seulement (GG pour avoir trouvé le numéro 4^^)

Par contre, je me demande comment ils vont faire pour la numéro 2, vu que tu na pas traduit (ils comprennent peut etre le "jour du seigneur"?)
Néanmoins, j'ai bien aimé cette review, et malgrés le micro on comprends presque tout^^ (habitude de parler comme ca aussi :/)

I saw the film in high school believe it or not in one of my classes for some odd reason but when I saw it, I was just unimpresssed, very unimpresssed. The only good things were the character designs and the animation. And that's it, the rest of the movie just sucked.

I remember back when I went along to a family trip to Disneyland Resort Paris in 2006-2007 as a New Year's trip and we were having a McDonalds meal one evening during this trip and McDonalds in France happened to be promoting "Arthur and the Invisibles" in a Happy Meal promotion. I saw those freakish designs and thought "What on Earth is this?" and then I found out Luc Besson was involved and for a short time, I wasen't so negative on it but then I started seeing adverts for it on TV on the run-up to the UK release and I then thought "Oh my sweet jesus, Luc Besson made this? This is the dude that made "The Fifth Element"! What happened to his genius?".

Heh, it's a strange joy to see that my first impressions of this movie were actually true to the real movie itself and I was right to avoid it. Really awesome video too, Benzaie! These Top 5's are getting better and better.

I watched it and I found the movie to be a pretty entertaining piece of work -even for adults.

But when I noticed the details (in this review) it kinda blew my mind, I laughed but inside I felt like crying would also suit the situation. Great review, loved it!

Sorry I did not reply sooner, was trying to do my own blog.
But here I am now, reminding myself to post here.
I have one problem though, your accent gets in the way sometimes and I can't understand you clearly. Butit isn't your fault, it my fault. Stupid ears. lol.
Anyway, I can just re-watch it again to understand.

I have been watching your videos for a while and come to the conclusion you must be David Tennant's twin brother! You are, aren't you?? I swear you look a lot like him, if you don't wear a hat that is.

Anyway, on with the response to this.
This movie is FUCKING HORRIBLE!!! You can barely understand the plot, you question why Arthur has to shrink at all and you also don't get the satisfaction of a worthwhile villian (he seemed like suchj promise but is not evil enough) to be defeated. Overall, it isn't satisfying on any level.
Have seen the English version and it is BAD...as for the above reasons. But the French version sounds worse. Have not seen it but regard from what I have seen, it is as bad (if not more) then the English version!
With that said, I agree with you in everything that you said and can't wait for another "Top 5".

WHO THE FUCK DIRECTED THIS MOVIE (Arthur And The Invisibles..not yours)???

LUC BESSON directed this movie a Former Talented Director I must say... LEON, NIKITA, the FIFTH ELEMENT, le GRAND BLEU, are all great movie... but then he created EUROPA and produced some of the worst movie ever ( TAXI, B-13, YAMAKASI ) and proved himself a bad director in ARTHUR N the INVISIBLES LOL...

I did not see this movie, and I am glad I did not. My ignorance has shielded me from Luc Besson's weirdness. It's one thing to go out with a bang, it's another to make a weird animated movie with pedo undertones. From Leon (The Professional) to this. If this movie does anything, it shows how to make sure your retirement is permanent.

She's covering herself because of protocol that princesses do not go topless. There's nothing there.

I think you took this movie far too seriously. I don't think Besson seriously intended the message with the villain to be "people with AIDS are evil". And everything else was blown way out of proportion.

It's just a kids' movie. I thought it was fun.
