avatar One thing that never made any sense to me regarding this movie:

There was the
the equivalent of an epic high (like the drug kind) on the screen for like 20
min towards the end of the movie.

20 MIN! SERIOUSLY, WHY? IT MAKES NO SENSE!
Somebody explain, cause it's hurting my brain.
myliege44   |2008-05-28 22:21:42
I really like this one, you morphed Matrix in 5 seconds with this one!!!! Great
job!!!
HamatoKameko   |2008-05-29 17:27:56
avatar Nice touch at the end, there.
Gabz Girl   |2008-06-01 03:33:28
avatar LOL, that film is really trippy. It's just all pretty images to me most of the
time! D=

"Woah..."

It was Dave "entering" the monolith near Jupiter, if I recall
correctly. It was a pretty psychedelic and intense scene, but after having seen
what the rest of the movie was before that, you could be expecting that. Plus,
Stanley Kubrick loved making scenes last at least twice as long as they needed
to.

Again, great job, TGWTG. The ending touch was to perfection.
CrusherP   |2008-06-18 01:53:00
avatar The scenes were totally random (which was funny) and Neo saying "Whoa"
at the end capped of this good 5 sec video

6-10
mischa   |2008-06-19 01:38:30
avatar well said, Neo.
Daikun   |2008-06-19 19:06:10
avatar I hated this movie with a passion because it's so slow that it's mind-numbingly
duller than Titanic. This movie would be considered torture if you were forced
to watch it without fast-forwarding. The original movie just dragged on every
scene for what seemed like an eternity. Thank you for removing those
eternities.

You could've spiced it up even further by including the MGM logo
overture and the intermission. As if the damn movie wasn't long enough, they had
to add in THOSE annoyances. Jesus...

avatar Woah lol.
GoodOwl 0,0   |2008-06-28 10:05:38
avatar This movie would make a lot more sense to those who read the book ^_^
Pinkk   |2008-06-30 05:25:26
Daikun, you obviously wouldn't know a good movie if it hit you right in the
face. 2001: A Space Odyssey is one of the greatest movies of all time. You must
have the intellect of a toddler if you got bored with it and did not realize the
philosophical meaning behind it all.

helps people understand kubrick without reading the
book.
Ghostmayhem  - Keanu Reeves' stupidity= Comedy brilliance!!   |2008-07-07 08:13:08
avatar Whoa....
gozzilynn  - Whoh!?   |2008-07-08 01:21:27
avatar Wait.. Keanu Reeves wasn't in that movie. But it was great that you added him.

avatar neo asome
psamathos   |2008-07-28 14:07:36
avatar That looks about right. Apes make tools, man uses tools to make machines,
machines enslave man, man morphs into a giant baby in space, Neo frees man from
machines...

Oh wait, I think I'm getting my sci-fi mixed up.
TiagoJ7   |2008-08-11 19:13:06
avatar I didn't watch all the movie. I've seen the "apes" fighting and that
space psychedelic journey (and a little something after it). And I gotta tell ya
that these scenes were so dull and long, it hurts. It's the worst movie I've
ever seen.

Good job on the video, TGWTG.
Seigeengine   |2008-08-12 13:27:07
avatar I watched this movie.... once, the ending was so long I was staring at the
screen for around 20 minutes after the movie before I realized that. The ending
also made absolutely no sense to me, I don't think it made any sense to anyone
though.
RolandKincaid  - Read the book, Andrew.   |2008-08-21 23:51:08
It will help explain a lot of things you didn't get from watching the film
alone.
The whole "drug sequence" was Bowman going through the stargate.
The monolith, like in the past when man was an ape, sort of helped advance human
evolution (In case you didn't know, the monolith was put in a certain place by
omniscient aliens, and moved when they made an advancement.). What he was
seeing was different worlds and oddities in the universe. What happened at the
end was Dave dying, and being reborn into an omniscient being.
Luigi  - Pretty pretty space images.   |2008-08-23 03:42:32
avatar Wow. :o
South_Parker   |2008-08-23 03:42:53

HAL 9000  - Good Afternoon... Gentlemen   |2008-10-28 08:35:21
avatar I am a HAL 9000 computer.Allow me to put it this way, the HAL 9000 series is the
most reliable computer ever made, and I don't think I've ever seen anything quite
like this.
eagle270878  - Why is he a giant baby!   |2008-10-29 23:41:38
If only the movie itself were as short as this. It was so tedious i wanted to
kill evryone on the planet and then myself, very painfully. but i had to keep
watching it because everyone's always claiming it's so good. It's boring,
stupid, and during the last twenty minutes, very confusing. so confusing your
head will explode. unless you research what happened on the internet, you will
never find out why he was suddenly in a room and then dies and becomes a giant
baby floating next to the earth. (WHY!) Is he protecting the earth or is he now
a spy for the aliens, and where are the aliens. bullwank, this movie's awful.
weirdaljedifan2  - yeah...   |2009-02-20 13:21:48
...that pretty much covers it.
