It's weird, I don't think Captain S had a grudge with you....

But if you want to review a BAD video game, I would recommend trying for something Nostalgic... such as Home Improvement for SNES

or How about Barney's Hide and Go Seek for Sega Genesis.

As everyone has said. ET. One of THE worst video games of all time. not only did it help lead to the video game crash of 1983 but it was one of the starters of shitty video games based on movies. If not that then either Cutards revenge ( if you can actually find it) OR Superman 64. two horrible games in their own rights

So it's settled, then.
E.T. would be THE PERFECT review for you, seeing as how (as I already said) the AVGN has about 1000 messages in his inbox (no I'm not implying anything...) telling him to review it 'NOW!'.
If that falls through, or you just don't own an Atari, how about Superman 64?
It's THE NEXT GAME he's doing, and would REALLY be a slap in the face.
Also, the 64 is a much more recent console, and you probably have one already.

All this time, I thought that people would stand up and send in games that knock the living daylight out of you, that would make your blood curdle, that would touch upon the very nerve that violently reacts to the uncanny valley of video gaming. "Home Improvement", "Superman 64", hell perhaps even "Mario Teaches Typing". But no...I have a terrible feeling that the majority vote will bring the Nostalgic one to review "ET, The Extra Terrestrial".

Also, best fight scene I've seen in a long time. Props for making the Nerd seem just as epic as you. Very gentlemanly of you.

hotel mario or the zelda games all for the cd-i. I know not many ppl have them, but it would have a good Nostalgia factor as ppl love mario and zelda, but man those games make Rosie O'Donnell look more appealing than them (well, they're maybe not that bad, but damn close).

Please, DON'T review the E.T. game. Yes, I know, this game sucks a lot, but it is short and it won't be enough to beat what the nerd is making.
I suggest you do the review of another game, take any other game, but not E.T.

Hey, NC. That was really an epic video. Since Superman 64 and E.T. are too obvious choices for reviewing, why don't you consider doing The Tick for the SNES? You can tie the review with the cartoon, and trust me when I say the game is pure crap.

Give it a try, it'll make a great review.

C'mon guys, E.T. is way too easy for the Nostalgia Critic to play through. He needs a bit of a challenge, a bit of craptacularness in his life that combines movies and Video games. Ah, I got it. He should have to review...Shaq Fu. A lot of references can be made to Steel and Kazaam in this game. All 3 are totally craptacular and aren't worth the mylar or computer chips made for them.

I'd try The Predator for the NES, it is a great nostalgic movie, but a terrible game that almost ruins the love for that zany movie. Remember that one part where arnold stabs a scorpion off that guys shoulder? well you fight A LOT of scorpions.

If you want me to be honest, it should NOT be an E.T. review. As stated, it's too short. What would you say? "This game sucks, but everyone already knows that."

You want a bad game to review? Do Superman 64, and do it RIGHT NOW before the Nerd gets a chance to put up his Superman 64 review (which, he has said, is next, although I wouldn't put it past him to roll the theme song, say "It sucks," and roll the credits).

I would say Superman 64, but Nerd already has that in the works apparently. So yes, I have to say E.T. There might be funnier games out there, but E.T. is the worst. It is a game that even the Nerd will not bring himself to review. A game so bad that I have seen grown men CRY by playing 4 minutes of it. A game that is worse than Mortal Combat, Power Rangers and Batman & Robin, all mixed together. It is that bad. But you will prove your worthiness as the greatest reviewer of all time. Maybe.

Yes, E.T. may have been a terrible game, but Superman 64, while also being a very god-awful game, is next on the Nerd's agenda. Consider this payback for the Wizard! Also, Superman 64, like someone mentioned earlier, is probably on a more available console then E.T.

ET is amazingly overrated as a game that needs to be reviewed. I used to own it...it's not that in need of being ripped into. It was horrible, and it single handedly killed the Atari 2600...but there's not much to say about it. We need something NC can really rip into. Something like the SNES version of Revolution X...or anything on the Atari Jaguar.

Does it matter what kind of game it is? NES, SNES, PC, Wii, XBox, etc.?

If it's going to be in the AVGN genre, E.T. for sure. If he can just review any game... I'd go with Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing for the PC. That would blow away anything AVGN's done.

Just amazing. Really. I think that's why I like Glasses' videos so much. He really DOES like to go one step beyond. Meeting Nerd in real life for the sake of a funny rivalry..

Well, I strongly disagree with E.T. being the choice. There isn't really.. enough of a game there to review from what I've seen.

LOL, awesome video. I love how James couldn't keep a straight face.

As for video game request, I suggest JAWS for NES. You could double it up with a review of the horrid JAWS movie sequels if you wish.
