Oh man that was hilarious! I never watched 'Saved by the Bell' (born in '94), but I did watch Lizzie McGuire and hannah montana. I never knew that this show was so..."interesting" and at the same time "meh".

Zack's outfit is dreamy...like a dreamy green dragon I used to love Screech, now his voice reminds me of the squeaky teen in the Simpsons (If I had a girlfriend, she'd kill me). So he was the comedy relief right? That oil episode was epic, they would have used the money to buy double guitars and chocolate microscopes.
I loved your reaction to Zack's outfit. It was your hysteria that I found more funny. You haven't been like that since the Harry Potter book launch.

Bit of lag at the end; I think that's the first time it's ever happened which means Doug's still pretty ahead of the curve.
One of my bigger issues was that even as a kid it was impossible not to notice the double standard pattern in all the episodes about Zack and Kelly's relationship. Either Zack starts to stray or Kelly dumps Zack to hook up with someone else, and in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE it's Zack who we're supposed to see at fault, having to either make it up to Kelly or not stand in the way of her happiness.

Fantastic review! A real treat for the fans of NC! At 20 mins, this was total gold! (Not sure if it was just me but I had an audio glitch towards the end, hope this can be rectified!)
Loads of funny moments but the best had the be the tribute to the one and only Becky! (Especially the serving add-on on the service announcement! Classic!)
Oh, and Tiffani Amber Thiessen was by far the most gorgeous of the girls! I wish I was in her cleavage like Becky was! Great touch!

Great stuff. I think in all the years I watched this I didn't see the caffeine drug episode...weird. I do remember the rock band episode, Jesus. You'd get more fame by actually playing the game rockband than by what they did. Also I would have liked to have heard the description they used for Zack's solo outfit: "Mr. Madonna". I found that statement more halarious than the costume if you can believe that.

I remember this show. It had some nice moments if you were a kid in (high) school in the early 90's. I liked it, but you just couldn't get away from it! When you had school break and think you wouldn't see the show again until school started again... There were the holiday specials! And it worked. The kids at school would talk about the characters like they were real people, even if they knew it couldn't be.

I'm so glad you reviewed Saved by the Bell. That show was/is the shit! I watched that show religiously since I was four and I still catch it on The N (the network that replaced Nick GAS) and it just never got old. Even if you didn't like it you still couldn't help but watch it. But anyway, I'm glad you made mention of Screech being stuck in puberty; it's just so appropriate that recently Dustin Diamond did a porno movie, and even when on Best Week Ever to accept an award. He claims to be ten inches. I also remeber seeing the episode where Jesse takes caffeine pills when it first aired and even at age 5 I was like "uhhhh...kay, so what about this marijuana that the Ninja Turtles are talking about." Nevertheless,the part when she broke down was definitely the first time I remember my mind getting fucked. "I"m soooo excited...I'm so..sssscared..." Anyway great review, keep up the good work, keep on rockin' in the free world and all that shit.

I'm not really familiar with Revver, but if it's anything like Youtube, put your video in QT Pro, export as a quicktime movie with the following settings:
Codec: H.264 Keyframe rate: every 30 frames Limit Data Rate to: 500-3000 kb/s (depending on the size and lenght of the original file) Encoding mode: Multi-pass (corben dallas multipass...geek moment lol) Dimensions: 640x480
you may have to play around with the dimensions and data rate. It depends how big the initial file is and more importantly, how long it runs. Hope that helps.
Now, as for the Saved By The Bell review...there's so much to talk about I'm not surprised a lot was left out, like the smoking episode or the Jesse is suddenly poor and has no prom dress episode or the College Years.
Also, Bayside High must have the best rehab clinic in the world...one episode, someone is addicted to cigarettes or drugs and the next, there's no sign of addiction whatsoever.
It's also interesting to point out that a lot of the plots were later reused in shows like California Dreams, USA High and City Guys.
Oh and was it just me or did he turn into Chester A. Bum halfway through?
