Great interview. And it will be very interesting to hear you talk about films outside of character (though I can't deny the brilliance of Nostalgia Critic and Chester A Bum).
And I love the conveniently placed DVD of The Wizard in the background.

Other than the fact that he got screwed over by Stuttering Craig, he shouldn't have left Screw attack. Ironic, screwed over by the guy that runs Screw Attack today. Apparently from what most peopel involved say, Craig got greedy and developed adiva complex where he thought that it all revolved around him. To the point that when Screw attack became proffitable, he deciedd to go around Tom's back and fuck him over. Me? I used to be a G1. Right now other than the AVGN ( I love the thing The NC and the AVGN have goin'on) Screw Attack ain't the same. Craig should be ashamed of himself.

08.19.2010 - 10:41 | PirateKingyou aren't being entirely honest. Tom wasn't exactly doing enough to help (there were other areas and he never claimed to help in those areas.) IT could have been handled better but It is a bit more complex then the way you make it out to be

Interesting stuff.
Why exactly did handsome tom leave screwattack, any one got a link to a reason why?
i looked but couldn't find any thing.
I like how thatguy markets himself. He's famous from his 5 second movies, hes got his well publicised feud with avgn. Bum reviews are all over then net. hes doing a really good job

Tom leaving ScrewAttack in 2008 was definitely a surprise since he founded the site with Craig when they were talking about making podcasts based on video games. They were working together very well up until the decisions to register their company. Tom wanted Craig to register the site together, but Craig wasn't up for it at the time.
However, at a later point, Craig went and registered ScrewAttack himself without even talking to Tom about it. His reasons for doing this was terrible. Craig claims he was "persuaded" to do this and had to take his own initiatives. That showed a huge indecency towards Tom, who was still willing to work with Craig and wasn't going to do things on his own and not tell him about it. As one of the owners of the site, Tom was keeping up his responsibility, but Craig on the other hand, just treated his working partner and friend like trash. He even stated on the podcast that he refuses to apologise to Tom for his actions.
Tom's response for leaving ScrewAttack was stating how unhappy he was with Craig. He only wanted to work with the site because he had fun with it and wasn't looking to earn profit from the merchandise and such, only from the work he did. Tom actually kept his dispute between Craig short and moved on to form The Game Heroes. This was the only good thing that resulted from Craig's betrayal as Tom vastly improved with his image as well as making the videos more enjoyable.
