That was a good interview, the only problem with it was it made me want to hear more!

As such, this is a great insight video on ThatGuy and the effort he puts into things. Also to mention is that he dominated the interview, making Martin struggle at some point to keep up.

Whoops, I forgot to even COMMENT on the actual video itself. I was too busy being a colonialist...

ThatGuy was just amazing, however Martin (and Handsome Tom) both get one thing wrong - ThatGuyWithTheGlasses is different CHARACTERS in each video series.

Just like when you play with Batman Action Figures, there's one with Kung-Fu Grip, one that has 5 sayings and one that comes with a Baterang - THAT IS THAT GUY WITH THE GLASSES!

So it's kinda "Breaking 4th Wall" when ThatGuy references himself as the character of "The Nostalgia Critic" when he is in the same universe as "Chester A. Bum". (See - Ask That Guy when Chester stole "the pipe") and also NC's "Follow That Bird".

There was NOTHING wrong with Doug, he actually outsmarted Martin Sargent. He actually got "5 Second Films" included, and finally he managed to make me laugh all throughout the video!

WAY TO GO!

I don't know.. these features always feel kinda condescending to me. Inarguably, Doug is a much more interesting guy then Martin, yet he doesn't get the chance to show it because he only gets the screen in few second-bursts before Martin starts with another question. I also hated how large the focus was on "Ask that guy" yet the Bum didn't get any recognition - to me, Bum is much more funny and undearing than the answering guy, who is a much more "acquired" taste and will probably come off as "weird" to general audience.

Then again, marketing is marketing and I hope TGWTG gets more much deserved recognition now.

I actually feel the opposite. I was actually pretty offended by the Bum videos at first, as I know some bums. But once I got over myself, they were great.

The ATGWTG videos were gold from numero uno.

but that's just my opinion.

Can't wait to see that interview, admin. This one was pretty good too. He kind of got a little loud near the end but I think that was my speaker volume. I know mine'll kind of pale in comparison but this one was great. Just keep marketing the site and pimp it out. That...didn't sound right, did it?

Its good that you made it on TV!
I admit, I am a loyal fan to AVGN, but that doesn't mean I like him and him only, I think your stuff is great.
I don't think you rip of AVGN a bit, there is limited ways to make a reviews of stuff, and while AVGN gets more angry and pick on the little stuff (while inventing swear words or use strange combinations with them), you get more sarcasm about things and... well get angry, or even more sarcastic, you two also have different things you review and the set up is different. The battle and act you have with James is great and entertaining. Another thing I like with nostalgia critic is that everytime I go to your site you always posted new stuff, they come out often and you also have a lot of different acts and different things you do with them, like top 11 or just 5 second movies. Recently other people have beginning to post things in this site and I like all of them too, and I think ThatDudeInTheSuede is also great (he should just post more often).

To be honest, I'm having a bad impression of this interviewer of the show.
He keeps interrupting when Doug is answering his question that makes the whole interview like a tense interrogation.

dude, Martin kept interupting Doug at every oppertunity, he was only actually shown for maybe 5 seconds at a time max. very unprofessional. poor editting, plus, Martin was extremely rude with so many interuptions like that
