I wanted to get a clarification from Doug about which shitty Captain America movie he'd be reviewing (there's three!), and he confirmed that he will be reviewing the 1990 Captain America film starring Matt Salinger, not the 1970s Reb Brown version.

So, no, the Cap video won't be anything like, "CAPTAIN AMERICA HE'S THE MAYUN CAPTAIN AMERICA HE'S THE MAYUNNN!!!! CAP'S WORLD!!!" or anything like that. Does that mean the Reb Brown film will never be covered on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses? Time will tell.

Darn you and your mysteriousness, Doug and the gang! I wanna know what the "Special Top Secret Review" is!

I'm a little glad to see We're back on here.. whenever I tried telling people about it no one knew what it was. I was going crazy! John Goodman and Yeardley Smith in a dinosaur movie... no wonder I got weird looks growing up.

9/22 Old vs. New Wily Wonka--ALRIGHT! My money is on the Gene Wilder verison because Johnny Depp tries too hard to be freaky in the newer verison.

9/29 Cool as Ice--YES! YES! 1,000x YES!!!

10/6 Suburban Commando--Just saw the movie last weekend and let's just say there is nothing original about this movie and I am just saying it loosely about the movie. Hulk Hogan made Dolph Lundgren look like Tom Hanks in terms of acting.

I LOVED this movie as a kid.. we'll see how it aged. I put it in the same boat as Harry and the Hendersons.. Awkward Dad, played by very funnny guy, finds giant brute in the middle of nowhere, then tries really hard to keep it underwraps while the big brute teaches him something about being a good husband and a father.

All taht childhood nostalgic love though, pales in my want to see you rip it to pieces, and I truly can't wait.. I really can't wait to see doug's expression when that other alien talks with the high voice. THat should be hilarious.

Looking forward to the We're Back and Willy Wonka reviews. The September 1 one should be interesting, too.

I've been wondering when you would do a Willy Wonker showdown. My prediction:

Overall - I say he'll go for the original, just because its a classic and the remake just seemed unnesessary. Good, but not really needed.

The Fuckups are what I'm most looking forward to. There should be loads of good bloopers for him to count down.

Aw yeah. Captain America! I requested this a while back. Can't wait to see you rip that movie's rubber ears off!

It also should be noted that the Fuckups is the 100th episode of the Nostalgia Critic.

Top Secret! starring Val Kilmer

True, it was bad, but, OMG, oh so funny

Even though there were a lot of bad things about the movie, I can't help but like it. Captain America is my favorite hero and hopefully the new Cap movie will make me forget the old one.

Captain America is played by Reb Brown, the guy who also played in Space Mutiny and Yor. I wonder if he'll go the Spoony route.

When you started doing the old vs. new segment, I KNEW Wonka was gonna be put on the chopping block soon.

Even nostalgia aside, Wilder trumps Depp, hands down. Can't wait to see if the Burton version actually gets any points (hope you break the 2 for 2 tiebreaker formula from the last two).

Either way, excellent list for the first weeks of school.

Actually, it only looks like it's the 100th show because a bunch of Trailers/specials were added (Which shouldn't count).

According to the Wikipedia page, "Fuckups" is officialy Show #93, while the list ending with "Suburban Commando" will be the official show #98, making Show 100 on/around October 21st.

Speaking of which, the 100th show should be a Spinal Tap-ish mockumentary of how TGWTG.com rose to prominence...but that's just a suggestion.
