Adventures of Sonic?! OMG, you just made happy on so many levels. Just one question. Are you reviewing both Sonic cartoons (SatAM and Aosth) or just Aosth? Or perhpas you can breifly mention SatAM in the intro or outro since it aired at the same time as Aosth. Well whatever you decide man, I know this its going to be entertaining.

OMGNO

Yes, Rip it a new asshole please
I forgot all about that, and I was glad. Now that I'm reminded, I only want to see it burned to the ground

After the Mario Bros. Super Show review, I expected that a review of Sonic would be imminent, especially because the popular demand.
Though AoStH deserves a good roast, I hope you give credit where credit is due should you bring up Sonic SatAM as a way to demonstrate how animation companies can take a property beyond its basic concept.
... Although, I wouldn't mind if you took SatAm down a peg either...;)

Wow! Two whole months of just ripping into things? I would have liked a tribute or two in there, but I guess after paying tribute to Nickelodeon for a month, you wanted to go back into classic Nostalgia Critic mode.
As for the picks, not bad. I actually enjoyed The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. And it's been ages since I've seen A Kid in King Arthur's Court, so it will be interesting to see what bad things I didn't notice, though I do remember it be an alright flick.

01.22.2009 - 17:33 | B galShame that we won't get the Last Action Hero review. All well. Happy to see you tear apart that over rated Sonic cartoon.
Hoping to see a Mega Babies in the future. My god, that cartoon was awful. (To everyone who don't know what am I talking about here's the wiki linkhttp:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Mega_Babies. Seriously, it's the batman and robin equivalent to animation. You'll regret watching it. I regret remembering it.)

I knew after the Super Mario Bros. Super Show review, the review for the Sonic show was just around the corner. Other episodes I'm really looking forward to are Twister and Ferngully. Both movies I've seen before, so these will be fun to watch. Well, all the NC episodes are fun to watch regardless of whether I've seen the shows/movies or not. :)

Actually, 4 Sonic Cartoons were made and 1 movie. The first was Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, which is what is being reviewed. It is extremely stupid and childish, but I still enjoy it. It is one of those cartoons that is just insane. Then there was Sonic the Hedgehog, called SATAM, which is usually considered the best. After was Sonic Underground, which is the strangest. It was basically a middle ground between the first two Sonic cartoons as it was serious in a lighter tone. Plus they played a bad song each episode, though some were fairly catchy. There was also Sonic:The Movie which was two Japanese Anime cartoons combined into one. Finally, there was Sonic X which I'm fairly certain wasn't too great no matter what language you watched it in.

Even though my brother (and to a significant degree myself also) think Last Action Hero is actually a good movie for what it's trying to say and the movie it's trying to be anyways, I still wish you'd get round to ripping it apart! I used to have a huge Last Action Hero standee of Ah-Nold and his "Big Gun" years ago, but it got trashed when it became inconvenient space wise. Kinda kicking myself in that respect.

01.22.2009 - 22:27 | SrgemanBoy will this be fun. Garbage Pail kids made me want to puke, absolutly disgusting movie. Kid in King Arthur's Court is bad, but what makes it worse is that it has a sequal!

I gotta admit, this seems like a great lineup. I'm especially looking forward to to Ferngully, Titanic Animated, Twister, Kid and King Arthur's Court, and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (for the record, I think it was a better show than the overrated SATAM. AoSTH felt like Bugs Bunny and had a lighthearted tone like the early games, and the other show felt like network executives slapped Sonic characters onto a random show that took itself too seriously).

There was an animated Titanic cartoon?
Geeeeeeeze....-_-;
Looks like a near lineup. (Especially Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog, which has the best voice of Robotnik out of all of the incarnations.)
When you DO do Ferngully, don't forget to make mention that even though the movie was pretty shallow, it has one of the best villain songs of any animated film.

01.23.2009 - 01:02 | BurningPantheraOh Sonic, we love you so much, but like The Escapist suggested we need to take him out back and shoot him while he sniffs flowers.
Does anyone else thing WMAC Masters would be a perfect NC review?

Wow...this is weird.
I see this announced that he's doing that show...
And shortly before I came here...I rewatched the "Die Hard" review by AVGN where he mentions Urkel...as well as went to a "Worst of Wrestling" site called WrestleCrap where they reviewed a "Family Matters" episode with wrestlers in it.
...trippy.
But yeah...Adventures was kinda immature...but it DID follow the games at the time a little closer than the SatAm did, though SatAm had better writing.
Sonic X, while not the greatest show, does have one thing over all of them: it actually had SUPER SONIC in the thing. Well, that and the Japanese opening is damn catchy to me.
