Hello all, your favorite admin Mike is here.

    First let me tell you that it's been an incredibly hectic week, with the server move and all.  The site was having issues after the initial move (some small issues are still persistent), but overall now it's running quite well.  We basically went from a a single server (Quad Core w 8 Gig of Ram), to 3 eight core servers each with 4 gig of ram (2 web servers, 1 database server), add in a hardware firewall and a load balancer, and voila the site is now stable!  YAY!  So basically the constant downtimes (knock on wood), should be a thing of the past.  With only a server rebooting causing service interruption.  Also I would like to personally thank LiquidWeb for all that they have done.  Without them, this move probably would have never been done!

    Now for the issues that are solved:
    Email is now working for Doug and I.  So if you sent us an email between December 10th and the 18th, we didn't get it.  So resend that shit!

    Ongoing Issues:
    IE Crashing when viewing Doug's 5 Second Movies and the Transmission Awesome Podcasts..   Expect this to be fixed by Tuesday (A new video player will be used to play them, and with that no more IE crashes!  If you can't wait till then download firefox or safari and enjoy)

 

    Other Stuff:

    Premium Area:
    Expect it to be updated on Sunday night.

    Video/Article Updates:
    2 a day video updates shall still be ongoing throughout the weekend and carry over into next week.  A massive article update will be up by Saturday night.

    Talent Search:
    We may be interested in picking up some new video people soon.  More information as it become available.

    Best of Blogs:
    I'll be updating it finally tomorrow night!  Also a new way of picking and rewarding featured BOB people may begin happening soon.
