Hello all,

The chat room on IRC is now fully up and running.

If you are a veteran of IRC, I'll give you the pertinent info so you can get on right away

It's on newnet.  the server is irc.internetrelaychat.org  (may need 3 of for tries to connect) and the room name is #TGWTG

Now for you novices

First you will need to download an IRC client.

For windows you can use:
    MIRC (you don't have to register or pay $20 after you trial expires.  Just hit the ok button)
    Chatzilla for Firefox
    If you don't have Firefox yet, download it below.
   

For Mac users you can use:
    Ircle

If you use Linux I'm sure you know what to do.

Easy Way to connect: (Just click on this after you have downloaded an IRC client

Click Here

Hard Way to connect:

Basically after everything is installed you want set up your name/user name/email (doesn't have to be your real info, just make a real username)

After that is done you want to connect to a newnet server from your server list.  Find one and hit connect (or the lightning symbol)

After all of that is done type /join #TGWTG.

Also you may want to register your nickname

to do so type /msg nickserv register password email 
(replace password with your password and email with your real email address)

After that is done, they will send you an email with a code to copy into the irc window.  After that is done your nickname is all registered!

To identify your name type /msg nickserv identify yourpassword

I installed it, im in the TGWTG connection, but I dont know if its cuz nobody is in the chat right now or that something happend to my connection, but I dont see nobody.
your help is always welcome

ps- if somebody is readin this right now, enter the chat, i wanna see if it works

I was going to tell you that the new, updated Nostalgia Critic movie is up! Unfortunately, you chat room isn't uploading on my computer. So i decided to tell you here because that's what i would have told you online.

Why is the on-site chatroom a separate room from the irc channel? The on-site chat needs to be replaced with an irc java client so they get connected with us folks that enjoy chatting in the comfort of the channel.
