Man I have to agree with Cat on American Idol. They really sound like each other! I've been saying that for ages. I just hate that show and I can't even enjoy the beginning episodes since I am just too embarrassed for those poor people who think they can sing. My former friend auditioned for the Finnish version of the contest and I thank god she doesn't go to the same school as I cos I wouldn't know where to look after that screw-up she did.

03.02.2009 - 04:15 | Manic MonkeyIn defense of the idiots on the first few episodes of American Idol it was talked about this year that they literally lie to the idiots and say they sing good during the first panel of judges no one ever sees.
When they get to Paula, Randy, and Simon they get the truth. Its really decitful and unfair to idiots but then again I don't blame people for not having pity for said idiots. xD
Anyway great episode. :)

Dr. Gonzo, you need to yell "FUCK YOU" more often because those are probably the most impassioned "FUCK YOUS" I've heard in quite a while...followed by Beaker sound effects (I couldn't help myself). :whistle:
It's funny, I jumped off the Idol bandwagon years ago and it still astounds me that the same types keep resurfacing on the show. There's always the diva, the occasional rocker chick (pink hair is a must!), the ambiguously gay cutie, the soul man etc.
Most importantly, thank you guys for featuring Mr. Vorhias and I's 14 Greatest Anti-Love Song article. Unfortunately, for all the times REM and Daft Punk come up on our lists, Phil Collins never does.
Hilarious episode this week! :D

But seriously, this episode was hilarious. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Muppet jokes--what an odd thing to be a sucker for...--but I loved it. Nice to see Chris have to split his insults between people, instead of just focusing on Sean this time. I bet Sean enjoys it too.
