RolloT: you said that Boardwalk Empire is the best show HBO's produced in a long time- how does that compare to The Wire?
I'm of the opinion that The Wire is THE best TV show ever made. So I'm wondering how Boardwalk Empire compares.

Good episode, guys. It's actually really interesting listening to Apollo talk 'cause he's so different from the character he plays.
As for a suggestion for the guide, Transformers: Prime (the newest Transformers cartoon) is pretty cool so far so I'd recommend that one for next time.

WOOHOO TA Guide, my suggestion. Though "Twix to Naruto" also would've been a great name for Nick's segment
BTW RolloT Stabler only beats up people when kids are involved....that makes it okay and that's why he never gets suspended for for police brutality.
I hope Spartacus Blood & Sand comes up at some point on the TA Guide. I suggest checking out the last episode of the first season(best season Finale ever) the show started off slow and dull but by the 3rd or 4th epsiode I found myself thinking this is one of the best shows I've ever seen before.
I just recently got into Apollo's stuff and have been enjoying it so far so its great to see or should I say hear him as a guest on the show.
I guess now that Sean's gone RolloT is now the resident fat person on the show.

I know I might get some flack for this but I kinda want the forum focus to come back. No offense to Nick at all, but TA Guide so far is pretty much like the forum focus only specifically about tv and even less structure which can hinder the humor sometimes. also it's pretty much designed to leave paw out of the conversation and sometimes roses to a certain degree. maybe with a little more structure and time it'll work out but right now i'm not exactly sure how i feel about it. otherwise great episode guys.

Great Episode... Apollo being a Major BSG fan as well I have to agreen with your choice of a badass from there :)
In June I get to meet Michael Hogan in person... that I'm looking forward to a lot.
Chicago Code is a great show!! and I have to miss tonights episode. :(
Shall we keep going with new shows with city's names in them.. say.... Hawaii Five-0? :)

But i agree with Y--- the wrap up to the ying/yang storyline was such a let down. So much bullshit. Though i think they spent most of the budget on the duel spires episode which was fantastic.
I would suggest a show but i dont have cable and dont watch anything newer or stuff i didn't already watch when i did have cable.
Also i need to watch more Apollo Z. Hack.

If you can't pronunce Tokusatstu, Just do what all Kamen Rider fans do and call it "Toku" Just "Toku it's easy and clean!

Jesus guys, you had Hack this episode and yet you don't talk about tokusatsu with him especially Kamen Rider? How insulting!
And even if Nick doesn't like Smallville, or plan to talk about it, you should watch a few episodes of it since I do believe there's much potential on the segment, talk about the beginnings and endings of some special shows. SMALLVILLE DOESN'T SUCK THIS SEASON, SINCE ITS THE LAST!

Thanks for bringing back the old player and for putting a link to download the latest TA episode. I enjoy listening to them offline and have always love the antics between you people.
While the new TA segment TA Guide is a stroke of genius,I am going to miss the forum focus as I do not watch a whole lot of television and most of it is crap.
I'll get over it soon enough but I cannot say it will be easy either.
BigKahuna93,Yes Sean is no longer a part of TA. Watch the Angry Joe episode as Rollo T explains why and also why Angry Joe left.
I never heard of this Kamen Rider show everyone keeps talking about.
The TA Guide needs to be structured better so that Paw can participate in the conversation.
I hated how he was not talking that much during this latest podcast.
But otherwise it was fantasticting to know about Apollo Z Hack. Maybe I might check out his stuff.

Excellent show. I'm looking for ward to see how the Reviewaverse Saga unfolds.
As for TA Guide, I humbly recommend ABC Family's Secret Life of the American Teenager, which returns this Monday. Secret Life is just as craptastic as Troll 2, The Room, Birdemic, or anything else that's ever been featured on TGWTG. It fails on EVERY possible level: acting, writing, and production. It is the most inexplicable, awkward, unintentionally funny show that has ever been on TV since 7th Heaven which makes sense because both Secret Life and SevHev were created by Brenda Hampton, the television equivalent to Uwe Boll. It is a contender for the Worst Show Ever and I can't wait for it to come back.

so rollo t does the show without pants. thats good to know. The best show HBO ever had on was Curb Your Enthusiasm. Larry David is insane. He runs through a room screaming that a dog bit his penis. How can you beat that?
Oh, maybe him and his father smoking weed with a hooker! The list goes on and on.
