Jon, I knew you'd do a great job on the podcast when I heard you were going to be on it. You did a great job. After all, it isn't every day we hear from our resident Mountain Dew...er...WoW expert...er...arcade whore. Jeez, man, you have many hats.
Great podcast, guys! Am unsure what to call the segment. I was thinking "TV Guide" but...that's taken. Damn copyrights!

Great guest, great show, glad TA is back.
The Mountain Dew question portion of the show is probably the most unintentionally professional moment in TA history, it seemed like a legit Q&A.
I'm surprised when Paw said he was going to play some music from his past that Rollo T didn't make an "old" joke and say something liek the only song cavemen had was the Bedrock Twitch.
And if Nick wants to talk about Nostalgic martial arts stuff: WMAC MASTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arcade whores may be the greatest whores of all time. Don't offend them! Also, huge thank you to Paw for introducing me to Pogo last week. He has been giving me pure music bliss for the last couple of weeks. I actually really liked the Mountain Dew slurpies, so I'd actually be interested to hear your opinion there. So they are using hallucinogenic processes to speak to Demons? Stupid FATALITY!

You guys pointed out just what is wrong with the ghost hunting shows, since they don't stand up to scrutiny. Infa-red cameras can only pick up surface temperature, so they're measuring a cold spot on the wall in front. Plus the EMF meters can only work within a few feet, unless the magnetic field is HUGE! Plus their movement and the cameras could easily set it off.
Hurrah for skepticism! If this is the best "Evidence" for ghosts they can come up with, it's pretty damn pathetic.

Hmm. TA Guide may work. Let's see what our judges think.
As for the ghost show, there was one that was filmed at a hotel I stayed at for a wedding. It was the Mount Washington hotel in upstate NH and there's this lady that's supposed to haunt it.
They recorded something from the lady's ghost. It was kinda spooky. I don't know if it's real. Here's the clip on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=h3JjOnClaV0
Is it real? Is it not? You make the call. All I know is that when we stayed there this ghost knocked off my mother's earring while it was still in her ear. It made funny noises and somehow we all got food poisoning. That place is haunted, yo.

Not enough Hall and Oates imo. :p
I like the idea of the TV show segment; there really isn't any mainstream TV reviewer on the site. I also like the idea that Nik is hosting it because Nik's voice is awesome. He and Brad should have a voice off.
I would actually like to see you guys talk about Fringe, even though it's in its third season (which is drenched in plot heavy episodes so far). The show is kinda pigeon holed as an X-Files meets Twilight Zone ripoff but I think it's worth watching and needs more love.
Great episode, can't wait for more! ;)

Hey Guys,
I just want to say thank you so much for choosing me as Awesome Blog of the Week - I couldn't believe it when I got a comment on the forums congratulating me lol
I'm glad you thought it was funny Chris, but just have to make one correction - I'm not irish (although I CAN do the accent lol). I was born in England and live in Scotland, so my accent is a mixture of both. But, thanks for thinking it was nice :)
I'm amazed I was picked so thank you soooooooo much and I hope to prove my worth with my next review - The Fifth Element....so watch out for it
Suzie aka The Blockbuster Chick :)

I watched the original Japanese when it was still up on youtube.
I did see the second (was muted) but visually it was the episode frame for frame.
Though, that episode is not the second episode (more the 15 episode or so).
Keeping with the original but taking out the Japanese culture to replace with our culture so puns are more understanding, I feel safe with them.
Only thing I'm worry is that "our power rangers" part of the story (Bulk and new Skull).
That is something that must be kept but fit in so, doesn't feel like a side story or another story completely...
I'm glad that I can show it to my huu "don't want to watch something with subtitles" friends now. :)

Wasn't expecting the new TA to be up so soon, but who am I to complain? Already moved on with Joe having to leave I see. I suggest a segment on Y Ruler and Rollo T bashing Evangelion but especially Webuild. The internet needs more people on it.
A Hall and Oats segment?! Can't say that I am huge fan of theirs like Roses is. Now if we are talking LSG or Keith Sweat then I am on-board.
ChaosD1 is getting around a lot recently. First for appearing in La Horde review and now a guest on TA. I would rather drink orange juice instead.
The title card was adorably cute.
I'm surprised Rollo T didn't talk about Film Brain's latest review which I am sure would interest him.
I don't care for Power Rangers anymore. I grew out of it.
I'm welcomed to the idea of having new segments.

I'm just wondering why you went from a perfectly fine player for TA to one that is beyond fucking useless that you have only the option to either pause or stop not skip to points in case something happened. I was halfway through when my PC crashed and then realized oh I have to wait through the entire first half again to finish this episode FUCK THAT SHIT. Seriously can you please go back to the old player or to one that isn't awful.

First off, awesome to hear the volume levels back to listenable levels. Don't know if Paw took back over the editing or if Rollo T's figured it out, but props to wherever their due.
Love the new segment idea. It'd be nice to know what's not a tedious pile of shlock on the tube these days. As far as ideas for a title off the top of my head:
Television Awesome
Televersation (utter crap, i'm aware)
What's On? (probably best, I think)
Though, I am a bit late to the party so you've probably picked already, but throwing those out anyway. I do have to wonder if this means no more Forum Focus :(
Also great to hear that Roses and Nick are going over so well, I'm really liking how this teams turning out. Though I don't know why no one pointed out that Rollo T's now the biggest guy on the cast when he started the fat jokes, he might have the biggest rack as well :P
