the beat from your song kinda reminds me of go with the flow from pete rock and cl smooth
and how can lil wayne claim to be the best rapper alive? he doesn't have anything interesting to say and isn't even rapping good :dizzy:
and his voice is annoying.
i hope he won't be on lupe fiascos next album, because he tends to be on every album by any successful rapper =(

Ya, guys, I dont get why people hate on Dane Cook either. I think he's hilarious and people seem to want to make me feel bad for finding him funny over the past few years, and I can never understand why. His Bee Joke on "Harmfull if Swallowed" is the funniest thing ever. He's not funny all the time, but not everyone is perfect, but he hits more then he misses imo.
I also really like Stephen Lynch. Paw if you really want to find more of him all his CDs are on ITunes. I think he has, like, 5 CDs now or something. He is indeed hilarious in his inappropriate humor. The lullabye is only one great song of many he has (if you havent heard his song about beelzebub, you should hear it, it is really funy).
I could go on forever, but those were two you guys talked about I wanted to bring up. For the most part I agree with Joe on his stand up likes it seems.
Just as a random factoid, if you havent seen Micheal Keaton's stand up (yea, he started in stand up too) you should check it out. I thought he was pretty funny anyway =D

Ya, guys, I dont get why people hate on Dane Cook either.
Because he uses the material that other comedians have crafted through years of standup, then he uses that material as his own, without working on his own material. It's like if I rewrote Stephen King's "Carrie" scene by scene, but called it "Kelly" and made more money and fame off of it thatn King himself.
The reason you may not know he is considered dishonest and a hack is because the world of the comedian is so insular, (like another world from mainstream entertainment) and the comedians he's ripped off (namely Louie CK) is not a bitter and hate filled person (like myself).
What if you were a stand up comedian and had this bit that killed, but it took you two years of doing club dates all over the country, to perfect that bit, but the audiece loved it. You still aren't famous yet, but you feel you are on the verge, Dane Cook even came to see one of your shows. Then you see that Dane Cook is doing your bit on tv (with very little changes). Now every time you do your "killer joke" people angrily say to you: "hey that's Dane Cook's joke, you hack".
But I am not hating on you. I went to Laugh Factory a couple of years ago and on the bill was a "surprise" guest comedian. It was Cook, and he was funny. I wanted to hate him, because of his rep, but he was good and was one for an hour or more. Because I am not someone who hangs out in the comedy clubs or watches and listens to every comedian, I have no idea if any of the material he did that night was "previously used". But the fact that I have to question it, takes some of the luster off of that night and I have to take away points from him.
That is why people don't like Dane Cook. Add to the fact he does the annoying hyper style comedy.

10.17.2010 - 18:20 | IncredibleMulkI admit to liking Mencia's first special, probably the one RollT mentions. However, after that his comedy devolved into just stating stereotypes and calling people stupid if they didn't get it. Supposedly he stole from George Lopez and since I've never laughed at Lopez's comedy that makes sense.

1) Nice to see TGWTG diversify its talent pool. Keep it up.
2) My forum topic gets a shout-out on the Focus? DAMN!
3) Re: stand-up comics... seriously, some of Bill Cosby's old material had me laughing out loud when I was in middle school, especially "Chicken Heart", "Noah", and "To Russell, My Brother...". For real, check them out.
My anticipation level for the 3-tear anniversary keeps rising every week. Keep it up, boys.

10.26.2010 - 17:58 | DMasterAwesome song. I really gotta get some of the RC's stuff.
Never have I agreed with you more, Rollo T; Sarah Silverman is the WORST. The penultimate worst. The worst in terms of humor is, of course, Seltzerberg, but she is way up there.
