And downloadable content is just retarded my little brother asked why did you pre order fallout new vagas your just going to get the game of the year addition when it come out with all the downloadable content in it? I said something stupid, but if you really think about it. Its so true.I tried to argue back but what was i going to say? I love fallout and mass effect but look how much dlc there going to be just for 2 games. I know they have to make their money but danm. Its like buying a book you really loved reading then finding out theres more to it what are you going to do? Pay for that extra stuff because you dont want to miss out on anything.but then you end up missing out on other good books just because you spent all your money on that one book. I agree, as well. However, if I ever did, which is highly unlikely, I would apply the same kind logic that I do to stuff like e-books: "If I don't get a physical copy, I will pay no more than half as much."

Disclaimer here though: I don't mind what the people at the tree house do as long as the characters involved (TGWTG people) don't mind. But I still find it... disturbing.

EDIT: also I guess to address Joe.

* Yes the prices are stupid expensive. Though only some are that high. Older stuff is only 0.50$. I still wouldn't buy it but saying 20$ for a hat is unrepresentative.

* There is a reason the slippery slope argument is called a fallacy. I say don't Hate them for some thing they haven't done yet (as in make the micro transactions mandatory to get certain things).

* Valve has always maintained that the new weapons are not up-grades but rather different strategy. For example the new engineer stuff is made for a front line engineer instead of the old school defender engineer. So just because someone wants to spend the money will not make them "better" at the game.

* Value is an opinion. While I agree hats have no practical purpose, saying they have no value is an opinion.

That being said I agree that buying any of that stuff is a ridiculous waste of money when there are awesome games out there for the same price. I would also suggest not to by the stuff for real money. But as long as you can get the items in game I'm not gonna rage at them. But you seem to jump to conclusions on what all this will mean. Don't be hatin' until that stuff actually happens.

JewWario is a cool dude and I love hearing him talk with othe rpeople on Channel Awesome (like when hes on LordKats stream, or his own stream and whatnot) but no offense. I have no interest in his show. I did give it a chance, I checked out a episode of each, and they are just not for me.

Hes a cool dude, but his show is just not in my interests.

I do however agree with you Joe, on the "man-conomy" or whatever its called. I will never support micro transactions. I'm cool with modders making money (I dont actually see a problem with that, and think they should be able to get paid for their work as some things like TCs take a long time because those guys dont get paid. See The Black Mesa Project. It looks to be great but still hasnt come out cus those guys can only do it on their free time. Its like 10 years in the making now or something) I am not cool with having to pay for content in a game that adds nothing of value to the game.
