Apparently the show ran for 38 episodes in Japan, in contrast to the 2 episodes that ran in USA.
They ran the entire series, dude. And during the daytime, even. In all honesty, all the series was is a retelling of the Legend of Eight Samurai. But instead of crystals bearing their virtues, it's armor.

I love how you guys craft a new introduction for each episode. Testify, Brother Walken!
Dick-Stabbing Awareness month will probably have to be one of those unofficial months of recognition.
Toonami was my introduction to serialized anime. It had a lot of its own character, with Tom and his ship, and it was sad to see it vanish without even a hint of recognition from Cartoon Network.

10.05.2010 - 06:38 | schmidtmanWhat was the name of the song they did in the "Paw's button"? This was actually pretty chill for a time. Wouldn't it be easy to have an MP3 for the "Paw's button" alone? So if people like, they don't have search all over MySpace etc? =D

Reviews I don't agree with...
I initially was with YRuler on Space Jam, but I re-watched it shortly after the review and I felt it was indeed far too commercial and not nearly zany enough for Looney Tunes. I am still with him on the Phantom review; that movie was silly, but it was an enjoyable action flick and not an outright bad one.
I really disagree with NC on the Pagemaster; that one was always one of my favorites and it actually did make me interested to know more about the characters featured with in it.
I only disagree with Film Brain on Pirates 3 with regards to how enjoyable it can be. It is quite grating most of the time, but the action makes up for it most of the time with how crazy-awesome it is. It's a bad movie, but not in the fashion of either something funny like the Room or truly heinous like North. It's a bad movie with cool moments.
