It feels like you guys walked all over uke in this episode... I fell kind of bad. But, it was a great episode, and I'm looking forward to Luk'e premiere tomorrow!
Also, I can't wait for the guys half of the contest. I will OWN!! Though I really want to fake a girls voice for the first one, but... Probably a bad idea.

Chris! It was Dante's Inferno, however it wasn't through lava it was through blasted acid, I don't remember the explanation but a lake somehow became acid because of the volcano. IT WAS NOT LAVA, ACID, ACID, ACID. Sorry if I sound angry, but I'm drunk right now. So please forgive me. Oh and if you think I'm not drunk, for whatever odd reason I get very focus when I'm drunk, so that's why there isn't any misspellings. Oh sweet lord.

Movie talkers are the bane of my life. I'm an easy going guy, but when people talk, I shush them. If they carry on, I ask them to stop politely, and if they continue, I tell them I'm gonna fetch the manager. That shuts them up.
If I plan to riff on a bad movie, I go a few weeks after release, to an empty afternoon showing, so me and and my friends can riff without upsetting anyone.

03.21.2010 - 10:32 | BloodySharpieI am very, very, VERY tempted to call in the first week as Vera de Milo (search it on YouTube if you don't know who the character is), but I have a feeling they might mistake me as a boy trying to be a girl. If that doesn't work, I already have fan-art ready.
Also, Chris has a bit of a potty mouth. :0

03.21.2010 - 11:30 | DoctriniusHell yeah. I got to agree with Joe. If someone's talking during the movie, you tell those wretches to SHUT THE HELL UP.
Great episode, guys.
Chris! It was Dante's Inferno.
You of course mean "Dante's Peak".
Dante's Inferno is something wholly different.

03.21.2010 - 11:48 | AdmiralAwesomeI think you guys mean in Dante's Peak when the grandma pushes the boat through the superheated water that was pretty much acid.
And I gotta say that this was probably one of the best podcasts so far.

03.21.2010 - 12:34 | HybrisCompletely chaotic podcast, I just love it, awesome as always! :woohoo:

03.21.2010 - 14:48 | InstrumentI wouldn't say Michael Bay does what he does well. Did you see the twins? God damn.
You know who made a purely entertaining film that was good? John McTiernan when he made Die Hard. Now that's a good job at being entertaining.

Thanks for the Awesome Blog pick.
Nice Jamaican, I mean Scottish accent.
Movies don't need to be "intellectually stimulating." They are entertainment. However, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be well crafted and at least make sense in the fundamental sense of storytelling and basic logic - especially when there are millions and millions of dollars involved in big budget action fests. Transformers 2 was a bottom of the barrel of movie making (and I liked the first one, which was also dumb but at least put a decent enough amount of the parts together) that was just incoherent from the sloppy pacing to the very cumbersome action sequences. It's those types of things just add up.
I love dumb action movies, but they still need to be well made. Look at Commando. Completely stupid. But it gets what it wants to do and does it well. It makes sense and tells a complete story with good characters.
And now I feel like watching it. :)

03.21.2010 - 15:54 | Raymond Luxury YachtI'm with Joe. When people are loud during movies, you need to offer them the fresh scent of "shut your motherfucking mouth" and tell them to be sure to breathe it deep.

People talking during (non-cult) movies can be pretty annoying as well as people texting on their phones during movies but what really takes the crumb cake for me is people bringing their MP3 players during movies. Why would you even bother going to be seeing a movie if you're not even gonna pay attention to it all? Alas, I am much too quiet and mousey to really pull an Angry Joe on them.
Can't wait to see Luke Mochrie's work! :)

Holy crap, I am JUST not getting word of being mentioned. I had no idea I had the honor of awesome blog of the week. Thank you so so much! I honestly didn't think the review was all the special. I had meant to do a review of Kingdom Hearts 2, but got really sick right before I was going to shoot all my live scenes. I just didn't feel I could do KH2 justice, but still wanted to do something for fans who were expecting a promised review. I just sorta pulled it out of my ass really... um...figuratively.
Wow. ^_^'' Thanks all! I'm glad people are catching wind of my wacky antics.

Lion King had two of the greatest deaths, each on opposite ends of the spectrum. Ofcourse, everyone knows about the tear-jerking tragedy of Mufasa's death. But not many people bring up the death on the awesome and commumpance scale. In my oh-so-humble opinion, Scar had one of the best deaths in any Disney film. He is forced back against a cliff wall, begging for his life as the fear in him rises more and more, and then he is ripped apart by a pack of hyenas before a raging fire destroys what's left of him.
