To answer one of complaint I heard about Cap being exploited to get kids to buy war bonds, I think I can help. When he wasn't allowed to fight in the war, because he is the only link they have to maybe re-creating the serum, the only thing he really could do is become a symbol. His character is someone who wants to help the cause, any way he can. At the moment, it was all he could do. Sure, he didn't like it, but as long as it was helping the cause, he was okay with it.

The song's name is Seishun to shite which translates out to "As Our Youth." Also it's the opening to the OVA, not the 2nd opening.

07.29.2011 - 11:11 | Fear MageWhen I saw Red Skull, I got the impression that his head wasn't a literal red skull, but rather his skin turned red and became skull like (because of the skull underneath). Also, if you notice the portions of his skull that would be cartilage were eaten away, i.e. his nose and ears, adding to the skullish visage.
As per the discussion of the Hydra lackey's costumes, this is something that casually interests me. By putting them in a face concealing costume, it allows the film-makers to have the hero kill them off without the audience equating that it's a human being dying. It's why we can see a shit ton of Stormtroopers die in Star Wars and not care, but when an Ewok dies, our heartstrings are pulled, because they have faces. If you had seen the face of the Hydra agent who went the the plane prop, it'd would have had a different subconscious effect on the audience. The hero goes from fighting "goons" to fighting people.
OH Snap! Gonzo made a dirty joke! It made my smile very widely!
I'm really glad you guys brought up the idea that Red Skull may not be dead. I watched it and thought "that looks incredibly similar to the 'Rainbow Bridge' effect in Thor when they jumped between universes", and it's been bugging me when everyone reviewing the movie said he's dead.

The pauses between commentation for the hosts seemed WAY longer than usual this episode. >_>
As I said on the Facebooks, my opinion of this movie is that it was good and fun and good entertainment, but I felt really disappointed that Cap, in essence, didn't punch a SINGLE real Nazi throughout the whole film. Hell, Red Skull defects before Cap even gets to Europe.

Ok 1st off the last line Capt had in the movie before the credit was him in shock and it wasn't ment to be funny it was ment to be sad! Pretty much he sadi it in the way as if you were to go to bed tonight wake up and 70 years have passed and your 1st thought was you had to do a show!
Also, he showed alot of emotion at the end after the credits! he wasn't punching that bag because he was bored or out of shape he was doing it because he was pissed and the bag was a better place to punch that the walls of a SHIELD biulding!
And I'm sure they'll do the whole thing from the Ultimates where Peggy is still alive but very vry very old and doesn't want to see him because she wants hm to remembe her when she was young and all that jazz! except unlike the Ultimate universe she won't be married to Buckie in this world!
I'm surrrised none of ya'll knew about Armon Zola and reconized the hint at his comci book form with the green tinted magnafing glass looking like his TV screan robot body self!
The plan plot from what I've gathered is the Avengers movie is suppose to be like the Ultimates 1-2. with the st part being them catching the Hulk like they had to in Ultimates vol.1.1! Then the main plot will be Loki using the Cube to lead the Skrulls to Earth sort of like how he lead the Liberators in Ultimates 2 vol.2! And the Skrull will be like thier role in Ultimates vol.1.2!
And the plan sequals and spinoffs are suppose to be Ironman 3, Thor 2, Capt. America 2, Hulk 2, a Hawkeye spinoff, a Blackwidow spinoff, and a Nick Fury and SHIELD spinoff. and, from there whatever they come up with up next is up in the air maybe an Avengers 2!?
The other main reason Edward Nortion left the Avengers and a Hulk 2 was because Josh Weddon thought in his own word now "that [Edward Norton] wouldn't work well with an large cast" like he hadn't been in movies with other big named actors. I recall 2 movies Fight Club and Italian job in which he wasn't the biggest actor in them either!

I actually had to register because of something you got wrong...XD
Jarl Skuld isn't for Warhammer, or made by Games Workshop. He's for the Hordes side of the Warmachine/Hordes game made by Privateer Press.

I don't want Spidey and Wolvie any where near the Avengers. They are haven't part of the team for even more than a decade after Avengers Disassembled.
Hank is an original Avenger along with Wasp. He gets precedent over Spidey and Wolvie. Without him there is no Avengers and Ultron. As does Vision, Wonder Man, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Black Knight.

Okay Hank Pym didn't beat his wife. If you look back at the comics from the time, Hank was under a lot of pressure and seemed a tad unbalanced. Determined to try to show the team he was worthy of being an Avenger, Hank was actually on trial and about to get kicked out for excessive force during a battle. The team was fighting a mysterious woman and Cap had convinced her to stop fighting. Hank came along and zapped her in the back. This could have caused her to re-ignite the fight and defeat the team.
Hank locks himself in the lab trying to figure out what to do. His only real accomplishment was creating a robot capable of thought, Ultron. After three days of cooking up a new plan to win back the graces of the Avengers, Jan decided to shrink down and sneak into the lab. She discovered Hank building a giant robot that would attack the team.
Why did he want a robot to attack? The robot would be unstoppable except for one weak spot he would be able to zap and save the day. Hank would be a hero, being the only one that could defeat the robot and saving the entire team at the same time. His trial would be dismissed and his position on the team would be saved. You can see that he wasn't thinking clearly.
Jim Shooter had intended for Hank to "have accidentally struck Jan while throwing his hands up in despair and frustration—making a sort of 'get away from me' gesture while not looking at her." It's still not right but you have to see there is a bit of a difference. Artist Bob Hall had taken the script and drew it with as much extreme action as he could. By the time Shooter had seen it, there wasn't time to have it redrawn. Shooter also went on to other projects and didn't have a chance to finish the story of Hank the way he intended.
Hank has forever been branded as a wife beater since. This isn't a matter that should be taken lightly. Spousal abuse is never acceptable. In Hank's case, it wasn't something he planned on doing or something he did on more than one occasion. Because of the way the artist interpreted the script, Hank is known as a wife beater.
Which he is not.
