I absolutely loved their joint review of Alone in the Dark. Here's another in my personal Top 11 Nostalgia Critic Videos. Out of curiosity, how did you guys manage to coordinate this whole thing?

Same here. Did they do it during the brawl?
The three do make an excellent team.

BTW about that Postal clip I can only say WTF?

It's Postal, what do you expect?

My only complaint is the robotic voice thing, but otherwise, good rant as always Doug and Co. Guest hosts are a nice thing once and a while!

Well Postal would have been a good one too, but I haven't seen it, so it wouldn't have killed me as much as Alone in the Dark when I saw it.

Good thing it wasn't Far Cry...now that is just a piece of shit.

well this was a "WAAA?!?" moment, i never expected this movie to be the superduper top sectret review, but was really good, i love the part wen spoony and linkara sing "boooring, this is boooring, this is really boooring, get on with the shoow" and the end was priceless :D
the only problem with this is..well is not nostalgic, and thanks to videos like this one people ask nc to do 2000's movies(like that rule that someone is ignoring in the other forum  )

The new review was great but I do have to say that Spoony wearing a Castleton t-shirt is quite possibly the greatest thing about this video!

Spoony, who are you kidding? You never went to Castleton :P

Good review! Very funny! At first I thought it was going to suck, because the last joint review with the Nostalgia Chick was just painful. But to my surprise it was a good review! I have two complaints one large, one minor. First for the major, the NC talking through the computer just didn't work for me. I thought it was kinda lame :| Now for the minor gripe, the annoying Chuck Norris joke again uggg. Don't get me wrong it was a good review, but it had the potential to be a great review. Just have the NC using his voice and voila! This good review has become great.

I sent the link to a friend of mine to watch, she wrote me back after and said "I feel really sad for him but also see an inspiration that the paralyzed guy does these videos."

No, the link was they're both based on video games.

As for people moaning about it being post-2000, how come there are no Linkara fans moaning about how it's not a comic? When it comes to a review as epic as this, it's allowed to break any rule.

Nothing in this video matched the moment when I first saw the NC strewn out against the wall like a broken doll. For one ghastly second, I thought the movie's incalculable awfulness had actually killed him, and we were about to witness the first-ever review made by a corpse. (Let's face it, there's probably no extreme Doug could manage to pull off after his GARBAGE PAIL KIDS video except dying outright.)

I was about stunned when I saw the first Nostalgia Critic laying against the wall. I was afraid that he had suffered a stroke but then he acted normally only not able to talk. I was about to fall asleep during the first part until Spoony and Linkara appeared. That was a relief. I really sympathized with NC because my jaw was broken when I was young and I had to get my wired shut for a month. I lost some weight from that.

I hope NC feels better and gets back to full critic mode. Maybe he can have Chester fill in while he recuperate.

Well...I was somewhat close (Maybe 25%). I definately called that Spoony would be in this, though I didn't think Linkara would be involved as much, but it was still cool to see all three. As for the subject at hand...well...this is what happens when you ween yourself off of video games for a while, you forget that certain ones exist and only the movie version sticks to mind--Nevermind the fact that it's a Uwe Boll movie and is worth castrating. In Three fold, nonetheless. Not withstanding, this was great! Especially love the "3 Stooges" references, the Stephen Hawking set-up, and the fact that Tara Reid is a total whore (With or without glasses). Proving once and for all what we've known for some time...People really eat this crossover shit up (And I hope another one comes soon)!

I think I'm in the minority when I say I thought it was one of the weaker NC reviews. It had some funny moments, but I found the Microsoft Same voice thing really annoying, and I don't think the three worked that well together (I might have a different opinion if the NC uses his actual voice). To me, it was a bunch of hit and miss moments.

I prefer the Critic when it is just him and nobody else. That is when he is at his funniest.

This a little out of the NC's territory and more in the department of Film Brain and his "Bad Movie Beatdown" reviews, since it is action-horror and comparatively recent, although it was still a very funny review. I loved how the Critic was so traumatized he had to use the speech program on a laptop to communicate, with Spoony and Linkara picking up the slack.

The Agony Booth has long ago posted a recap.

Dear God, what fucktastically bad movie, why is Uwe "Toilet" Bowl still a director and what the frell happened to Christian Slater's career that seemed so promising in the early 1990s?! :o

To be honest I was more shocked at the fact he was doing THIS movie considering its not "Nostalgic" as the message board has been very clear about not reviewing movies past the year of 1999 or something like that. I mean don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact he reviewed a Bowell film and even though I've never seen this movie, I absolutely agree this sucked donkey balls. But it kind of sends me a mixed message and makes it confusing as to what movie to request if that makes any sense.

I thought this was definitely one of his more clever concepts with the talking machine and having some guest reviewers, though truthfully without the "real sound" of NC's voice, I didn't find it as funny as his other work. There is something about his tone and the way he screams when he's mad or annoyed that just makes it sound even funnier and that made me kind of sad since it wasn't here but this was still very funny. The mixing Chester Bum and other people into that shootout scene was hysterical, the 3 Stooges gag was excellent and I LOVED when NC tried to say "I am ACTING" but couldn't do it without someone typing for him while he made the hand motions.

Very original idea with the machine voice, very glad you finally tackled a Bowell film NC and seen what the rest of us have been traumatized by.

I saw it by myself and it hurt, thats how bad it was. I esp liked the three stoogies theme they had for this collab. They do make a great team.

They think that is bad they should see " Heathers " which also has Christian Slater in it.
