Yep, I definitely have a favorite on this one.

Entry No. 3 should be the clear winner here. It is the simplest, most straightforward execution of the joke. The last one may have lots of pretty colors, but it takes a minute to realize "Oh wait he's coming out of an Obama poster." No. 3 is immediately identifiable as both a specific reference to the presidential campaign and the Chester A. Bum character. That's pretty important since this is going on a T-shirt. Some of the others would make great posters or wallpaper or whatever, but I think the third one would make the best shirt. Vote Yes on 3.

Well, I have to go against that M. Fireball. Entry 3 is obviously just the picture that Doug gave us with a bit of photoshop effects to spruce it up to appear like the original "Hope" poster for Obama. Of course, the actual "Hope" poster wasn't just a photoshop image of Obama just with different colors. It actually was made without the help of computers, so according to your reasons, "immediately identifiable as both a specific reference to the presidential campaign and the Chester A. Bum character" and "the simplest, most straightforward execution of the joke", this would mean we should vote for Entry 1, since being hand drawn, it is actually closer to the original poster. Unfortunately, I find your reason flawed and I will be voting for Entry 5, since I love how it pops out at you, and the "That Guy with Glasses" coins in his cup is an interesting joke, and the face is just priceless. These are my opinions and I'm sticking to them, but obviously everyone has different tastes.

That looks like a vector-drawn image to me.

1 would be better if it had a question mark after Change. The graffiti in 3 makes it a little clearer, so I guess you're right about my "simplest, most straightforward" argument getting thrown out the window. Still, that added graffiti is a tiny tweak that makes it a little more obvious to John. Q. Passerby that "this is a bum get it"

I still think 5 has too much going on for a T-shirt. I don't want dumb people staring at my shirt for more than like 5 seconds trying to figure out a reference.
