Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Do you enjoy being the "Nostalgia Chick" or is it someone you dread doing.
Are you my mommy?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Okay, I'll top that question. If Satan forced you to become BFFs with either Ariel from The Little Mermaid or Thumbelina for all eternity, who would you choose (probably Ariel guessing from your Thumbelina review, but I shouldn't be the judge, you should)?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)What do you think about Monty Python?
Do you like stand up? Who is your favourite? What British movies do you like? Last edited by Bagels are tasty on Tue Aug 25, 2009 8:05 am, edited 1 time in total.
Violance is never the answer and if you question i'll kick your arse!
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)So basically you want to know what Brittish things she likes, Bagel lover. I'd suggest you watch her Christmas video one more time
Little 6yo Lisa whispered in my ear: "I'm not wearing any underwear." We then had consensual sex in the missionary position for the purpose of reproduction.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Okay... good lord, backlog! I'll try to get caught up.
The Scientology episode... because its brand of viciousness I found so personally satisfying.
Green.
Neither. I don't find negativity particularly endearing (irony? perhaps.)
I'm not too into white guys lately, so I go with dark (not tan) skin. But as per natural skin tone, I say stay out of the sun, no matter what shade you start at. Cancer!
In terms of media, it really depends on the context, but I think it can be done in a non-objectifying way.
No. To me, tattoos are like graffiti; they bring the property value down!

Yes. The cinematographer was actually in my department as an undergrad at NYU and graduated from the film production MFA at USC. That said, the cinematography was awesome, and I really liked Sarah Brightman's part. Everything else... not so much.
About the same as my opinion on hemophiliacs.
Not a whole lot...
Un-surprise.
That was Bennett's brain child, but I was the one (along with Krissy) who kind of egged it on into existence. Noah came up with the idea for the talk show format.
At one point, somewhere around eight.
I guess?
Mos' Def
District 9 looks really cool, as well as just plain old... Nine. I'm also pretty psyched about The Princess and the Frog, if only for hopeful morbid curiosity. Cautious optimism. And Inglourious Basterds.
Eh, it's my fault for putting it off!
Indifference
At any given point, I think so. I had a bear... it was blue...
Limbo. I'd like to meet Gandhi.
Does The Beast count?
Neverending hummus, magical metabolism so I could always eat the neverending hummus, and a super-intelligent long-lived doggie to go on my adventures with me.
Still Teen Witch, though Bratz is coming up soon...
Yeah, you guys watch Current TV? It's pretty sweet.
Pretty much anything with aliens or robots.
Not a big fan.
Jesus. It was so bad I could see the fabric of reality tear. It was... transcendental.
Nope
Lately it's been kickboxing. I also do cardio machines, but I much prefer the other stuff. I like rockclimbing but I never get a chance to do it.
We have too many celebrities?
It's all about writing; medium is irrelevant.
24.
Still feel nothing.
No.
InfoMania on CurrentTV
I don't have one really, though lately it's been Bollywood type stuff
Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card
Hmm... heh, John Turturro. And Alan Cumming. I make fun because I love. Also Kate Winslet, Ian McKellen... hmm...
André 3000 and Shahrukh Khan. Mmm.
I actually prefer writing. And I like to read. And I play piano/accordion.
I enjoy Labyrinth.
Jameson.
Oh, I don't know
I can never hate Beauty and the Beast
It's all about Emperor's New Groove.
How do you feel about the slasher film genre?
Not good.
Nope.
I associate them with my old job.
If that conversation involved him saying the words "here, have a job," yes, definitely!
Not really.
Diet Coke is the most consumed, though Diet Hansen's is really good.
Yup
I'm good at ignoring
People tend not to bring their kids to the movies in NY/LA anyway. I win.
Depends on what the movie is putting forth and what it's shaping; to me an ideal movie for kids is My Neighbor Totoro precisely because of how they'd perceive it.
Mmm... leaning towards creepy
Good.
I prefer the flattering, considerate kind of courtly love. I'd probably lose interest in anyone who thought I couldn't fend for myself (when/if I feasibly could) pretty quickly.
Nah, bitch gotta eat.
It's Justin Timberlake I find enticing. I <3 Justin. I'm sad that didn't come across.
Gandhi.
Well, long and short, thought I could control it, one day got hospitalized. So I quit!
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)
Unfortunately, I don't get that channel. But... I do watch Sarah Haskin's Target: Women clips FROM Current TV, on YouTube. She's hilarious. Are you a fan? (And btw- anything else as good on that channel? ) My best vid-watchin' friend & I got in a friendly NC vs T:W argument. Then it turned into a knockdown, dragout brawl, so we may need you & Ms Haskins to serve as as seconds/tag-partners, soon. Sorry, but that's just how it goes. (Stupid Code Duello.) I suppose I should ask a question back at your 'question back'. Um.. -MLP movie: Terrifying or just mentally scarring? -Has your film-school experience 'taught' you to like a movie (or movies) you didn't appreciate before then? -Speed round: Kieslowski? Wings of Desire? Run, Lola, Run? Brotherhood of the Wolf? (oh, and I keep wondering if District 9 is near District B13, or maybe the district from the show The District....)

Let xkcd speak for me: ![]()
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Since you apparently didn't even care about the MJ's death, were you even a fan of his music?
Personally, I thought him a Musical genius, but how did you feel about his music? Are you my mommy?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)If you were to write an autobiography, what would you call it?
"I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad...worse than bad. They're crazy! You've got to say 'I'm a human being goddammit, my life has value!'"
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)So you don't like Loony Tunes or Monty Python, but you like South Park (which gets most of its humorous inspiration from those two). What is it that you like about South Park then (other than them making fun of Scientology)?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Since I never run out of questions:
EDIT: About the questions on the infamous artwork, never mind; it's honestly none of my business. My apologies for asking. Last edited by MnemonicTube on Sun Dec 13, 2009 1:52 pm, edited 4 times in total.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)
Considering he was originally human but was turned into an animal...no. However, if you said Simba or Robin Hood that would count (and, if you said that, I'd have a lot less respect for you).
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Six more questions.
Even though you're pretty clear on your opinion on slasher films but say you were hired to write a Horror film or a Horror sequel to a film like say, Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th, hell even Child's Play or The Hills Have Eyes; what would you come up with? Same thing with a Horror remake like Creepshow for example. Have you ever watched Penn & Teller: Bullshit? If yes, any thoughts and if you like it, do you have a favorite episode? Any thoughts regarding The Hangover and Pixar's Up? Since you like Starscream, any thoughts regarding the new animated version of the character? Which novel can you see being adapted as a Miyasaki or Studio Ghibli film? In your honest opinion, if you made a comedy or parody movie; what can you do to make it actually funny?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)I love you.
/fanboy Anyway, now that we know your birthday, what kind of suprise party should we throw you? No, I'm not going to ubduct you. Unless someone pays me lots and lots of money. I don't want to risk my ass getting kicked for nothing Oh wait. I'm in the Netherlands. Little further away then New York. And I have no chance in hell of ever getting into America. Why? Because I'm actually left winged. And you still haven't answered my question about what your favourate dish is. I need to know for when I ubduct you for your suprise birthday party. Little 6yo Lisa whispered in my ear: "I'm not wearing any underwear." We then had consensual sex in the missionary position for the purpose of reproduction.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)
If I'm not mistaken, NChick is now in Los Angeles.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)As I understand it, she's spending the summer in NY. That's how she made that crossover video with Doug. But yes, her base of operations is in Los Angeles.
No I'm refering to her comment that she had to leave behind all her friends in NY, and that she damns the 3000 miles and that it's kind of expensive to cross. So I commented that the Netherlands is a bit furter away from Los Angeles then New York is. Little 6yo Lisa whispered in my ear: "I'm not wearing any underwear." We then had consensual sex in the missionary position for the purpose of reproduction.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)More questions!
1. What is your opinion on Barbie? 2. Have you ever watched MadTV? 3. Opinions on The Dark Knight?
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)Do you like stand up comedy? If so, do you prefer the "normal" kind like ricky gervais, the absurd/surreal style of eddie izzard, the political humor of somebody like lewis black or the borderline philosophical stuff of george carlin (RIP, the last dead celebrity i cared about...)?

Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)
Carlin was one of my personal heroes, and also the last dead celebrity that I cared about....one of the few, in fact. I salute you, good sir, for mentioning him. Lindsay, I was wondering if you intend on seeing Ponyo next month. I love Hayao Miyazaki's work, as well.
Re: Questions that are asked (sometimes even frequently)I have yet another question, since you like aliens and robots, any thoughts on these R-Rated (well most of the films) franchises that have those two elements?
Alien The Terminator RoboCop Predator
I believe she answered that. She mentioned Psycho and Silence of the Lambs.
