So I have finally gotten around to updating my youtube/blip.tv show, called The Retro Gamer. Unfortunately its not Chrono Trigger, but rather something else using a different format. I am doing a Play-Through of the game Companions of Xanth which was made in 1993.
I am aware of the audio issue (I am also using a different method of audio/video recording) and I cannot fix it without redoing the audio ENTIRELY. So thats gonna be stuck for now, but part 2 will be a fixed as I am gonna test out some stuff to figure out just WHAT is happening. I am also aware of the cursor and have already figured out how to fix that one.
Remember when you had to blow on a cartridge for 10 minutes just to play a game? Yep- those were the 80's. Take a time warp with us, as we recollect memories of Super Mario Brothers 1-3 for NES.
Hello every one. Inspired by The Nostalgia Critic, I've decided I want to start my own reviews of movies. But I didn't want to take nostalgic movies since that is obviously taken. So I've spent the last few weeks trying to think of my own unique movies I could review. And thats when I remembered "hey, I'm an actor!". So I've decided to review musical films! If you have any musicals you would like me to review, lemme know. Films can be old ones, new ones, Disney films, even movies that aren't originally based on a musical but they made one anyways (Across the Universe). So, lets get this underway and start sending me requests! You may send as many as you like. And spread the news to your friends. There's a new critic on the web.
Btw, if someone can help me come up with a good name for my reviews, it would be much appreciated. Thank you :-)
A topic like this has stuck with me for a really long time but not until I saw the Nostalgia Critic's review on Tom & Jerry: The Movie did I feel like discussing it so here we go!
Now I must totally agree with NC about this, Tom & Jerry: The Movie was freaking terrible! Even as a kid, I watched it over and over again but mostly because I tried to make a good movie out of it and failed miserably. The only thing I find appealing about the movie is the *okay* animation and a few examples of decent-enough character design but it's shallow to say that the only things you liked about the movie weren't the story, or the characters themselves (apart from Tom & Jerry of course, if only they were given a purpose) but for how the movie looked and yet even that isn't exactly the best stuff ever neither! It's kinda like saying it's a certain tree is good because "the oak was well grown but could have been better".
But no matter how badly the movie stank, it's a very notable movie for jumping on a strange bandwagon that may have been silently taking place during the mid-80's to the early-90's. So what is this bandwagon in question here? Well, let's explain the storyline of Tom & Jerry: The Movie in detail...
