(side-note: that was a half-assed joke, in case you thought I was serious...) Captain S is basically the same, cheesy old show, but with a guy named NES as the villain (hardity-har-har) and he uses a Sega Genesis (instead of an SNES) to go into th magical video game land. And, yeah, I think it was supposed to be a half-parody, half-original ripoff of the Stewart/Colbert/o'Brien thing, with Colbert being the Nerd, O'Brian being the Critic, and Captain S being Stewart, coming to Colbert's side much after the "war" had already started.
