After hearing your comment about keeping Loony Toons and basketball away from each other, I have to mention a particular video game that meshed these two elements together beautifully. It was called Bugs Bunny B-Ball, and it featured several of the characters with their various comedic ball-steal abilities, and some hilarious special dunks. If you haven't played it, I'd consider trying to see if you could find a copy somewhere. I think you might like it. But yeah.... While some of his reviews are about really terrible movies (Double Dragon), some are just full of nitpicking over movies that are good (like Mortal Kombat). It really all comes down to opinions. I, personally, enjoyed this movie. This movie has a 37% rating on Rottentomatoes and a 5.4 on the Internet Movie Database. While not great, it seems like you're just looking for movies you personally didn't like. Personally, I loved it and so did Roger Ebert. Leonard Maltin also liked it. I mean, come on. If you ''really'' want to see the Looney Tunes characters brought up horribly, watch "Baby Looney Tunes" or "Loonatics Unleashed". The sort humor is the type you'd see in Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, and Freakazoid, which are my top three favorite cartoons, so that's a good thing. Now that is out of the way, I have to admit as a child (don't know what age I was but that not the point) I was suckered into this movie (well with Looney Tunes and Micheal Jordan and Bill Murray and Wayne Knight...how ccan you go wrong?) and never noticed the product placement...even after being older I never noticed it. Maybe because I tuned my brain out to it to watch the movie or because I skipped all the "real life" segments when I was a kid, just maybe that was the reson why. Anyway, I hate to admit this but as a child (or whatever age I was) I had a slight crush on Lola, nothing major, just a passing fancy....but now I know she was "just drawn that way" I'm glad I'm not a sick pervert or anything....but come on! If it happened to me, it may have happened to others! What were the movie makers thinking???? On another side-note, it was funny for me to notice (just now by the way) how WB was spoofing/making fun of itself by Bugs Bunny's description of the aliens seem exactly like the Warner Brothers studio. Anyway, I enjoyed the review (as usual) and shall look forward to more Looney Tunes movies for you to review (good or bad). Two thumbs up from me.
