One thing I found very interesting about the recent Joker interpretation was the jokes he made. Sometimes they were very subtle, and alot of them took me a second watch to even notice or realise that they were intended as a joke. So i've made a rough list of all the jokes in the movie: 1.) The smoke genade in the mobs mouth. 2.)'Very poor choice of words.' A simple play on words joke on 'let her go.' 3.)The fire truck on fire. Joker's use of irony. This one i didn't notice until somebody pointed it out. 4.)'How about alive?' A joke the Joker makes in the gamble scene. 5.)'Up.' This one i found hillarious, it's one of the few of Joker's jokes that made me laugh. What makes it funnier is that the lady actually looks up after reading the word. 6.)'Will the real batman please stand up?' This one i missed as the scene was quite quick. However, the Joker making a slim shady reference over batman is just plain hillarious. 7.)The nurse scene is one i consider as one of his jokes. Everybody in the cinema found the funny side of it. Defiently one to express the joker's weird sense of humor. 8.)Whenever people mention one of the Joker's jokes this one seems to be first in line. The magic trick. TA DAH! 9.) A.)The scene where the Joker has somebody read out his messages upside down. B.)In the same scene the Joker actually has his laugh written down for him to read, which he does. The Joker laughs over this. 10.)The Joker mixing up the address of Dent and Rach. Good old morbid joke. 11.)'...and gasoline' 12.)The school bus joke. I get the feeling the Joker might have got the driver to make the 'school's out, time to go' joke instead of it being the drivers own will. 13.)The biggest Joke in the movie... Two-face. Turning a white knight into a freak. Batman may of covered up for him but Dent remains a soul that symbolises how anybody can be brought down to the Joker's level. I'm sure that there are others that i've missed out. EDIT: Remembered some more: 14.)'Who did you leave him with?' 15.)'He may be in one place or several.' 16.)'I just want my phone call' 17.)The joker wearing a clown mask during the robbery is a clever yet subtle joke. 18.)'Let's not blow this out of poportion.' EDIT EDIT: 19.)'What doesn't kill you makes you stranger' Thanks to Thatrandomguy for the heads up. 20.)'You think you can steal from us and walk away?' 'yeah' Thanks for the reminder Thatotherguy. 21.)'Slaughter is the best medicane' This one i never noticed, thanks once more to Thatotherguy. Okay, i'd love to hear others you may have spotted that i missed out. Feel free to let me know and i'll add it.

Actually, it was "Laughter is the Best Medicine." But The Joker spray painted a giant red "S" in front of the "Laughter."
That had Doug and I in stitches for a good minute.

PS -- While not strictly a joke, per se, our other favorite moment was when the black gangster says, "And you think you can just steal our money and walk out of here?" To which The Joker simply replies completely straight faced, "Yeah."
